5 Crazy Notions 'til Christmas: Israel was behind the Norway massacre

Jones and the Infowars crew declared, hours after Anders Breivik's rampage, that the whole thing was a false flag terror operation headed by globalists, as an excuse to crack down on white, anti-banker activists. But Infowars was happy to leave the door open for other stupid, unsupported theories.

In a piece was re-posted to Infowars, Jones's frequent guest Wayne Madsen wrote that because Breivik was reportedly a fan of Pamela Geller's blog, this all but proves he was part of an Israeli Mossad operation to take over... well, pretty much everything.
He writes, "Because our police forces in America, New Zealand, Norway, Britain, Sweden, Denmark, France, Canada, Australia and elsewhere are infiltrated with Mossad sayanim, katsas, and jumper katsas, we must take it upon ourselves to expose these agents, publicize their names, turn the disinfectant of sunshine on their subterranean operations, and generally, make life miserable for them."

Pamela Geller (a leading opponent of the "Ground Zero Mosque") had informed us that while, yes, Breivik's behaviour was monstrous, the Liberal-sponsored youth camp he targeted was an "indoctrination camp run by Norway’s ruling Labor Party for up-and-coming children of the ruling elite".
This was also pointed by Alex Jones's ideological twin, Glenn Beck, on his radio show. As reported by The Telegraph, Beck said: "There was a shooting at a political camp, which sounds a little like, you know, the Hitler youth. I mean, who does a camp for kids that's all about politics? Disturbing."
He made a point of adding that a Republican youth camp would also be disturbing. I guess his fact-checker took the year day off, and couldn't tell him about this. It's a little creepy, sure, but "Hitler youth"?

Madsen seemed confident of his wild-ass guess, but to most people Geller's callous post does not in any way indicate Mossad involvement in Breivik's crimes. The desire to believe was there, but the evidence simply wasn't.

Then, four days ago, Prison Planet re-posted this article from YNet: "Swedish professor links Israel to Norway massacre". The title sounds pretty solid, right? But the article itself shows us only a "hint" of some possible link. The professor brings no actual evidence to the table.

Keep trying, guys. Sooner or later, if you keep going in this direction, you'll be the Jew-haters you seem to aspire to be.

The Blame Game: Norway Edition

It's not entirely Anders Breivik's fault that he slaughtered dozens of innocent people. We should also blame the New World Order, Muslims, liberals, Jews, people who don't like Jews, and maybe Hitler.


As Alex Jones showed us, the Powers That Be staged a false-flag terror attack in Norway expressly to give themselves an excuse to squash all patriots who oppose big government and "bankster" fraud. This isn't a Norwegian thing; it's a globalist elite thing. So we must remember that domestic terrorism is not the real threat, here.

Pat Buchanan, who has been a guest on The Alex Jones Show several times, may not agree with the first part of that statement, but he's totally on board with the end of it: The media is using the massacre to undermine right-wing populist movements throughout the world. Domestic terrorism isn't the real problem.

Muslims are. Specifically, Muslims immigrating into countries like Norway. In a column at World Net Daily He writes:

"... awful as this atrocity was, native-born and homegrown terrorism is not the macro-threat to the continent.That threat comes from a burgeoning Muslim presence in a Europe that has never known mass immigration, its failure to assimilate, its growing alienation, and its sometime sympathy for Islamic militants and terrorists."

In conclusion:

"As for a climactic conflict between a once-Christian West and an Islamic world that is growing in numbers and advancing inexorably into Europe for the third time in 14 centuries, on this one, Breivik may be right."

Alex Jones was supposed to be Glenn Beck

I missed this show when it was broadcast (Sept. 4/10), but when someone tweeted a link to the video titled "Beck was Developed to Counter Alex Jones" I just couldn't resist poking fun at it.
This gem is jam-packed with dodgy assertions that Glenn Beck was elevated to his then-current status specifically to bring down Alex Jones.

THE EVIDENCE:

He's Copying Me!

Jones pulls out a copy of Carroll Quigley's Tragedy and Hope and makes a big deal about Glenn Beck using a quote from it in his "factional" book The Overton Window. Why? Because Jones used to recite the very same quote on his show all the time. Coincidence?!

Well, yeah, probably. I mean, it's a famous book, and conspiranoids love quoting from it when they're out to trash the "Damnocrats" or prove some theory about the shadow government.

In The Overton Window, Beck "admits" that the U.S. government stages false flag terror attacks against itself, and that it's planning to launch a false flag nuclear strike as an excuse to declare martial law. The story includes FEMA concentration camps. Most damning of all, the character based on Beck himself is a government agent posing as a patriot.

Jones considers this book a New World Order insider's take on the Master Plan.

Okay, why would Beck so blatantly expose a real top-secret agenda and his own role in it? Dunno. According to Jones, the NWO just likes to throw stuff in our faces for shits and giggles. You know, like movie villains who spend five minutes explaining how and why they're going to kill the good guy.


"I was offered Glenn Beck's job before Glenn Beck existed!"

Really? Beck's first politically-oriented radio show was The Glenn Beck Program, which began airing on Tampa's WFLA in 2000. This was his first respectable gig, the show that launched him into the Conservasphere. Before that, he was just another morning zoo monkey making racist jokes, laughing about a competitor's wife suffering a miscarriage, and continuously getting shitcanned for his dismal ratings.
Was Jones offered the WFLA job before Beck? Jones won't say. He just says he was told by unnamed Bigwigs that he could become the next Rush Limbaugh. He can't reveal the names of any of these Bigwigs, he explains, because he agreed to keep everything confidential and will not violate his agreement. Never mind that it's been at least 11 years since this alleged offer, or that it's unethical for studio heads to make you promise never to tell a living soul they once offered you a job.

I'm going to go out on a limb and call bullshit on this one. If Jones could name even one of the dudes who turned Glenn Beck into the NWO's #1 media shill, I think he would.

Also, Jones never gets around to explaining why the NWO would try to co-opt his mad radio skillz to serve their agenda, then select a paranoid populist "shill" to debunk him, only to have the shill say 90% of the same stuff Jones does. Jones harps on the 10% of their content that differs (bailouts, 9/11, etc.) in an effort to convince us that Beck is a disinfo machine, but it just doesn't ring true. I've said before that Jones and Beck seem to have been separated at birth.

Of course, Jones said all this when Beck was at the top of his game, raking in the highest ratings Fox News has ever seen. Nowadays, he's hawking his Glenn Beck Network, an online-only "tv station" that will never, ever, have as many viewers as Fox News. Hell, a huge percentage of Fox News viewers don't even know how to use computers.
Would the New World Order really let Beck, their carefully-groomed stooge, sink so low?

If They really wanted to debunk Jones's rants about FEMA camps, false-flag terror attacks, and patriot persecution, They would not hire a self-described "rodeo clown" to talk about FEMA camps, false-flag terror attacks, and patriot persecution. They would do what I do, but on a significant scale: Point out the many, many flaws in Jones's "facts", theories, and opinions.

Face it, Mr. Jones: Glenn Beck is you in a suit.

until the end of the month. Have a good June, and give some thought to the recent actions of the man I call Alex Jones' spiritual twin: Glenn Beck. Watch the vid below and ask yourself, is Beck's embrace of the "anti-Communist" Elizabeth Dilling very different from Jones' embrace of Eustace Mullins, Texe Marrs, Ted Pike, "journalists" for rags started by Holocaust deniers and white supremacists, and guests who hold other racist and/or bigoted views? If Jones and Beck want to successfully "expose the truth" about Communism, the banking system, globalization, etc., there are many intelligent, erudite people they could choose as mentors - so why do they so often pick Jew-haters, people with fascist and/or neo-Nazi sympathies, and bigots?

The alternative media line seems to be, "If you have even a tiny amount of valid information, we don't care if you're a Holocaust denier, anti-Semite, fascist, or racist. It's all good so long as we agree on the really important stuff like fluoride, Illuminati symbolism in public places, and martial law (which is, of course, going to happen any minute now)."

There are key questions. We will not understand the true intent of Jones, Beck et al until we answer them.

Moneybombed

You may recall Alex Jones' moneybomb days last year. Throughout the first one, he interrupted callers with weird off-topic comments, cracked gay jokes, and ranted about his spiritual twin Glenn Beck (calling him, among other things, an "effeminate gremlin", "maggot-infested rotten cheese", and an "AntiChrist little bastard").

Yet his moneybomb goal was reached, since his fans actually want to see their cash converted into mediocre YouTube documentaries. He also claimed several people were threatening to sue him, so he needed the money, in part, for a legal defense fund. Or maybe for a legal attack fund that he forgot to mention.

Some of the money raised undoubtedly went toward film-making costs, but where is the rest going? Well, $15,000 it is destined to become cash prizes for "the best naked protest" against body scanning. That's just fine. I'm sure that in this brutal economic crunch time, Americans are happy to sacrifice their hard-earned nickels and dimes so that twentysomethings can be rewarded for running around nekkid in front of their friends' videophones. This will surely put a big dent in the New World Order's plot to see us all nude, then kill 80-99% of us.


Everybody Owns Hollywood

On his January 7th broadcast, Jones declared that he has "woken up" numerous A-list actors, and that most celebrities know Hollywood is fully controlled by the State Department and the CIA.

Wait, what? I thought "Hollywood is owned by the Arabs"? I'm so confused. Not only does Jones contradict himself, another *highly credible* source says CGI is a Zionist tool used for sorcery and brainwashing! "Ancient Egyptian rabbis" (whatever the hell they are) passed "kabbalistic witchcraft" on to the Knights Templar, and it ended up in the Harry Potter movies! Well, if you believe anything you see on Iranian TV, I mean.

September Spawned a Monster

So what have Jones & Co. been up to this autumn? Here's an abridged recap:

- The #1 topic is, of course, the Swine Flu vaccine. It contains the usual array of toxins added to vaccines for the sole purpose of sickening and killing us: mercury, squalene, etc. Sure, doctors will try to tell you that small amounts of these substances are not hazardous and are the only things that keep the vaccines from spoiling or being ineffective, but who's going to believe a certified medical professional over Alex Jones?
According to Jones, squalene was long ago removed from all vaccines administered to Army officers, because it was killing many of them. But wait. Didn't Jones already tell us that each and every military officer is being deliberately injected with "very aggressive cancer viruses"? So, um, why did the Army bother removing the squalene?

More importantly, just how is squalene toxic? Though the squalene found in vaccine adjuvants comes from other sources, our bodies produce it naturally. Rather than banning it, WHO, and just about every other public health org on the planet, considers squalene totally safe for use in vaccines, despite unfounded fears that squalene had something to do with Gulf War Syndrome. Adjuvants were not even present in any of the vaccines administered to Gulf War I vets; the FDA has not yet authorized their use.

- Cancer rates in children are up "1000%", thanks to cancer viruses in all major vaccines.

- Jones resurrected the Birther debate on his show by inviting back Philip J. Berg. You'll note that nothing about Obama's Kenyan birth features in The Obama Deception, because that *documentary* was clearly designed to suck in Dems and vaguely left-wing folks. Now that Jones has brought a few of them on board, he can go back to the groundless accusations about forged birth records and "Nation of Islam persecution of whites".
Meanwhile, Berg still hasn't produced that long-promised audio of Obama's gran outing him as Kenyan-born.

- Jones declared that within 5-15 years, 9 out of 10 of us will be dead. First there will be a one-child policy, beginning with getting rid of the tax credit in California (he said there are already massive fines for having more than one child in Australia, New Zealand, England, and parts of Europe). Later, "extra" children will be confiscated, sterilized, and raped by CPS officials (remember, 50% of CPS workers are pedophiles, and so are most family court judges).

- The New World Order plan, of which The Great Swine Flu Plot of '09 is just one part, is to bankrupt the world and set up a new economic system based on carbon credits (designed by Enron and Al Gore).

- Jason Bermas, another Infowars correspondent, and Luke Rudkowski (founder of We Are Change) were detained during G20 protests in Pittsburgh. According to Bermas, police were randomly bombarding quiet residential streets with sound cannons, clubbing elderly women tourists over the head for approaching them with questions, siccing their dogs on tourists for no reason, and beating children in their own front yards because they're not supposed to be outside.
While there have been many allegation of police brutality and security overkill during the summit, these stories are above and beyond anything else that's being reported even by the fringiest of fringe media outlets. And the video clips posted at Infowars don't show any of this alleged violence. They mostly just show guys standing around in riot gear, waiting for something to happen.

- When Clinton was carrying on the policies of Bush I, Newt Gingrich was brought in to "act like a conservative" and discredit and derail real Republicans with his Contract for America. Just as Glenn Beck has been brought in to descredit and derail Tea Partiers and Truthers.
I don't concur with this theory that Beck is a New World Order operative. Aside from his support for the first bank bailout and his trash talk about Truthers, Beck is the slightly calmer twin of Alex Jones. Witness his analysis of "Communist symbolism" in art displayed at Rockefeller Center, his stubborn assertion that Zeke Emanuel supports the formation of "death panels" (even though Emanuel is a staunch opponent of euthanasia), and the fact that his bosses apparently forced him to debunk FEMA concentration camp rumours. Beck's show is like a stage production of Network.*

- Charlie Sheen still hasn't gotten his twenty minutes with Obama.


* Particularly annoying are all the visual aids Beck has been using since moving to Fox. Is this because he knows his Fox News viewers aren't quite as sharp as his CNN audience, or does he just want to be the Carrot Top of political commentary? Two weeks ago, he actually laid out on the table in front of him a Twinkie, a glass of milk, and a glass of fruit punch. Then he proceeded to tear up Nancy Pelosi's comments about the bigotry and partisan violence she witnessed in San Francisco during the late '70s, without explaining the snacks. Finally, after he'd rambled for several minutes, he explained that they were supposed to represent Harvey Milk, Dan White's Twinkie defense, and the Kool-Aid of Jonestown. Srsly. It was like something a third-grade teacher would put together, if he happened to be batsh** insane and the kids happened to be unusually slow.

Weirdness Roundup

It wasn't easy to go back to listening to Alex Jones after he tried to pin the Holocaust Museum attack on the ADL, but I downed some Mylanta and braved his Sunday broadcast. The show must go on.

Here are a few "highlights" from Sunday's show and from last week's broadcasts:

- Finally!! After declaring at least half a dozen times that The Matrix is based on actual military documents, Jones mentioned his source of info: A 1958 Pentagon paper. He didn't give any other specifics, but he did say the paper involves microchips, which were brand-spanking-new at that time. While I still can't find this document, I did find a reference from another Pentagon paper released in the late '50s, which indicates the Pentagon might not have had the most realistic expectations when it came to computer tech. It envisioned a computerized "troop-carrying missile" that could "loop through outer space" and deliver an entire platoon of troops 500 miles behind enemy lines with pinpoint accuracy, all in the time it takes to deliver a pizza.
Somebody was smokin' the good stuff.

- Jones isn't particularly fond of Glenn Beck. Or gay men.
Jones had a hate-on for Glenn Beck even before Beck changed his mind about the FEMA concentration camps. I'm not sure why - they talk about the same stuff. Anyway, after Beck declared that James Von Brunn might have been a "hero" to the 9/11 Truth movement, Jones' bile reached whole new levels. In just two hours of his moneybomb broadcast, he referred to Beck as "maggot-infested rotten cheese", an "effeminate gremlin" who "goes to hundreds of bathhouses a day", a latent homosexual, and a CIA shill. He also said, "That little bastard is an antichrist" and "The spirit of 1776 will not be defeated by a fairy".

- "Bombardment!!" Jones claims that some schools are banning dodgeball and tag because eugenicists began planning our demise 80 years ago. They don't want our kids to be physically fit.
Explain for me, then, why the most heavily funded extracurricular activities in U.S. public schools are sports programs, why JFK introduced phys ed to public schools some 30 years after eugenicists supposedly decided to weaken the nation's children, and why the government spends millions per year on nutrition and fitness campaigns aimed at kids.
In reality, dodgeball and tag have been banned in a few schools because a handful of psycho gym teachers and junior-high hormone cases were getting overzealous. Kids were coming home looking like Rihanna after a date.
Besides, ducking and scurrying isn't exactly exercise. If it was, I'd give up my gym membership tomorrow and just ask friends to throw stuff at me.

- Jones is a big fan of Kurt Vonnegut.
At least that's what he said to a caller. But when the caller told him about an upcoming film adaptation of "Harrison Bergeron", he said, "I haven't read that book."

- Jones on David Carradine's ex-wife, who said he was into "dangerous" sexual practices: "Until I got older, I didn't realize the penchant a lot of women have for just making up wild stories."

- Jones on Child Protective Services: "There is nothing more dangerous than a truancy officer, or a CPS worker, or a foster parent. PERIOD."
And: "Most family judges are pedophiles." Half of all CPS caseworkers are also pedophiles. Jones has seen judges get looks of sadistic relish on their faces as parents cry, gnashing their teeth in malignant ecstasy. They are all demons. He saw one of the CPS "gremlins" in a Target parking lot once, and almost had heart palpitations from being so close to pure evil.
Jones implied that CPS corruption isn't due to some bad apples; social work itself is inherently flawed. It was invented by eugenicists and racists.

Jones and many other Texans are outraged by Senate Bill 1440. This bill actually protects parents accused of abusing their children, by giving judges the authority to hear from them before their children are questioned. Until now, Texas law has always let CPS get investigative orders without even notifying parents.
The problem lies with an amendment to the bill that allows CPS to transport a child for purposes of an investigation without a hearing or parental consent, if there's a "fair probability" of abuse. In plain English: CPS workers can remove a child from his home to be questioned if there are clear signs of abuse, and the removal requires only an affidavit. Prior to 1440, parents could refuse to release their children for questioning, and the matter would be turned over to police (who also couldn't remove children for questioning without parental notification).
To Jones, this means CPS can just swoop in and take your kids for absolutely no reason at all. It's illegal search and seizure at best, legal child abduction at worst.

For the record, I can understand the concerns about this issue. I don't like to see parental rights and Fourth Amendment rights undermined. However, the notion that this bill was designed solely to give pedophiles and child-sellers easier access to kids is ludicrous; I have no doubt it's a well-meaning effort to protect kids by making the tough tasks of social workers a bit easier. Whatever the level of CPS corruption in Texas, I see no reason to believe that "most" family court judges and half of all CPS caseworkers are pedophiles. Also, while there are certainly some bad foster parents out there, I question Jones' statement that most foster kids "live on antipsychotics and a sandwich or a hot dog per day while the foster parents go to Vegas."

The Blame Game II: James Von Brunn

Jones Blames Jews for the Holocaust Museum Attack

UPDATE: Bingo. Jones does, indeed, blame someone other than James Von Brunn for the Holocaust Museum shooting. He blames the government (as I predicted) and the ADL (as I should have predicted).
When a D.C. caller described an office evacuation that took place simultaneously, implying there was foreknowledge of the attack, Jones immediately pronounced it a "Valkyrie takeover drill". Then he pointed out that hundreds of articles about Holocaust denial have appeared in the press in the last two weeks. Earlier in the program, he said most Nazis like Von Brunn are actually agents of the ADL. Then he said something incoherent: "I wonder if they've got another old guy they had in custody 5 years ago, tried him with a gun. They told him, 'Look, we won't kill your family...just go in and shoot somebody.' The old man waddles in to do it, and the ADL and Simon Weisenthals all have a good time."
I have no idea what incident he's referring to here. Let me know if you figure it out.
The bottom line is, Jews arrange for these tragedies to occur and then celebrate them because it brings them one step closer to .... something or other.
It's at times like this that I almost despise Alex Jones. He spent 80% of his broadcast ripping into "the fairy" Glenn Beck for linking Von Brunn to 9/11 Truthers, without any evidence. Then he accuses the ADL of staging racist terrorist attacks, without any evidence.

Jason Bermas, Jones' clone, parroted his complaint about the Holocaust denial articles by saying one of the most duuuuuuh things I've ever heard from him: "Obama went to Dachau this week, too! The Holocaust is big!"

Yes, Jason. The Holocaust is big. The murder of six million innocent civilians tends to stick in public consciousness, for some crazy reason. I realize it's not as important to you as freaking tapwater or the MIAC report, but for many of us the Holocaust was, is, and will forever be "big".

Perhaps even more sickening and alarming than Jones blaming Jews for the attack without presenting ONE shred of evidence: Not one caller even mentioned it. They prattled on about the Swine Flu pandemic, Glenn Beck, and other meaningless shit instead of saying, "Hey, man, what up with blaming Jews for this? Where's the proof?" Also, this was Jones' moneybomb day, and he easily met his goal for donations.

I am sickened by these people right now. I almost wish there was a New World Order, so these soulless and insane and self-centered idiots would end up in FEMA camps, far from telephones and radios.

I was going to devote this post to yesterday's broadcast, 'cause it was a doozy. But the Holocaust Museum shooting deserves our attention at the moment.

Thus far, the media has blamed the following groups for James Von Brunn's actions:

9/11 Truthers: Glenn Beck declared he has been been warning his fans about Truthers "for a very long time", and said "early reports" indicate Von Brunn was a "hero" of the Truth movement.
I live with a Truther, many of my friends are Truthers, and I keep a close eye and ear on events in the Truther world. I've never heard of this dude. Neither has the Significant Other, whose Truth heroes are Stephen E. Jones, the Jersey Girls, and Richard Gage. Yes, there are racists and anti-Semites in the Truth movement, but not everyone in the movement is racist and/or anti-Semitic. Perhaps the biggest sin of Truthers is not racism, but turning a blind eye to racism in the movement, rather than openly denouncing it as soon as it comes to light.
This is a case of the crackpot calling the kettle black, because as I've noted several times, Beck has ranted about many a conspiracy theory on his Fox News show. In fact, he went out of his way to point out that while it's okay to "protest the Federal Reserve", it's just crazy to be a Truther.

I guess Beck didn't pick up on another early report about Von Brunn: On December 7, 1981, he walked into the Federal Reserve's D.C. headquarters with a sawed-off shotgun and a hunting knife, planning to take hostages. He served 6 years in prison for this.

Liberals: Thus far, the only "journalist" to link Von Brunn to 9/11 Truth is this woman, but even she doesn't blame Truthers for his crime. She blames liberals. Srsly.

Evolutionists: An essay thrown up at Beliefnet seconds after the shooting occurred blames racism on the theory of evolution and those who subscribe to it. 'Cause we all know there are no Christian racists. Don't be fooled by the fact that nearly all the major racist organizations in the U.S. have been Christian.

Birth certificiate doubters: The Huffington Post and Olbermann immediately picked up on the fact that Von Brunn questioned the authenticity of Obama's birth certificate. And this would relate to shooting up the Holocaust Museum how, exactly? I mean, the person who flogged that conspiracy theory the hardest is Jewish.

I predict that Jones will blame the government. He'll say Von Brunn was set up by the Powers That Be to justify Homeland Security's *persecution* of right-wing extremists.

We can't really blame any racist organizations, because Von Brunn wasn't active in any. He might have joined the People Who Hate People Party, if it had ever held a single meeting.

We can't really blame stupidity; Von Brunn belonged to MENSA. I guess we could blame smart people, but I only know of one other murderer who belonged to MENSA. And let's face it, the average white supremacist isn't top-heavy with brains.

We could blame old people. After all, America's oldest school shooter was 70 years old. There could be many more bloodthirsty seniors out there...
Thank God for the Lawrence Welk reruns that keep them off the streets.

We could blame guns. However, I can't recall the last time a gun hopped into a museum by itself and started shooting at guards. Guns tend to prefer quiet, dark places.

So who or what can we blame?

Let's take a cue from Von Brunn's ex-wife. She didn't offer up any scapegoats. She made it clear that Von Brunn was an alcoholic racist obsessed with what he saw as the disintegration of America.

In other words, Von Brunn was just an angry racist fuck.

Let's leave it at that, shall we?

Alex Jones' Slightly Calmer Twin

A little bit more evidence that Glenn Beck is either having a nervous breakdown, or carefully patterning himself after Alex Jones (hey, maybe both):

- Griped about the MIAC report, particularly the part about Bob Barr and Ron Paul bumper stickers. As if he has one. If you're going to be a redneck, Beck, you'll have to stop wearing a tie and go back to drinking. (Penn complained about the report, too, but at least he supports Libertarians.)
To give credit where's it due, Beck did note that ecoterrorism is actually more of a threat than militias these days. Good point.
- Said he doesn't mind being compared to the guy who goes nuts in Network. In fact, he wants us all to be mad as hell! What are we supposed to do once we get mad? He hasn't quite worked that out yet. We should just be disgruntled and generally unhappy, about everything. This sounds strange coming from a commentator who hasn't supported any third-party or independent candidates, has no real solutions for anything, and talks about himself more than anything else.
- Interviewed Ron Paul and wasn't a dick about it.

Beck is getting so weird that his comment about the 9/11 Truth movement producing the "next Tim McVeigh" has boomeranged on him. Incidentally, in the clip Olbermann brings up an incident that shows why the MIAC report maybe isn't so out of line, after all. He also brings up Father Coughlin, the man I consider the intellectual forefather of Alex Jones.

Is Glenn Beck becoming the Dark Side of Alex Jones?

Alex Jones just annoys me with his half-digested info, paranoia, and general lack of discernment. But Glenn Beck is starting to scare me.

For one thing, Beck has a much larger audience and much broader appeal than Jones. My grandparents adore him, but they've never heard of Alex Jones.

For another thing, since making the move to Fox News, Beck has been talking about a lot of things that are, frankly, bats*** insane. A few could be straight out of Alex Jones's mouth: FEMA camps, American Communism, etc. Beck and Jones even hosted Chuck Norris on their radio shows in the same week, since he's promoting his book Black Belt Patriotism.

But incredibly, it's Beck who's taking things too far and showing signs of instability these days. He brought up the idea of an American anti-government militia to Norris. Then there's this:





Let's explore this.

Up until the beginning of this month, Michael McLendan was a 26-year-old sausage factory employee in Kinston, Alabama. He lived with his mom, Lisa McLendon, 52, who had been laid off from the Pilgrim's Pride plant where she worked. Then, for reasons that aren't entirely clear, Michael suddenly quit his job at Kelley Foods after two years of employment.

On March 10th, Michael slaughtered his mother and her four dogs without warning. He then drove 12 miles to the home of his 74-year-old grandma and proceeded to mow down everybody in her mobile home, save for one 4-month baby girl who was forced to watch her mom and baby sister die while she lay helpless, loaded with shrapnel. The people he killed:

Virginia White, his grandmother
Alfred White, 55, his uncle
Tracy Wise, 34, his cousin
Dean Wise, 15, his nephew (Tracy's son)
Andrea Myers, a visitor
Corinne Myers, Andrea's 18-month-old daughter

He tried to kill baby Ella Myers, but she survived.

You'd think killing 8 people in less than an hour would be sufficient to vent his rage, but McLaren didn't stop. He got back into his vehicle and started killing people randomly, taking aim at pedestrians, motorists, and shoppers:

James Starling, 24, a father of two
Sonya Smith, 43
Bruce Malloy, 51

Still not quite content, McLendon wounded the police officer who rammed his car to keep him from blowing through a roadblock. Then he crashed his vehicle into Reliable Metals, a former workplace, and took the life of his final victim: Himself.

Did McLendon just snap one day? Not exactly. It was soon discovered he kept a list of murder victims, including former co-workers. A letter he had written mentioned a legal dispute with members of his family. Investigators think this might have concerned a family Bible.

He was "a self-proclaimed survivalist who ordered videos instructing how to commit violence." He "talked in recent days of being depressed about his failure to become a Marine or a police officer", having dropped out of police academy after a two-week stint in 2003. He was discharged from the Marine Corps in 1999 because he had enlisted fraudulently. (1)

Investigators admit they don't know what set McLendon off. (1)

Now, Mr. Beck, what does any of this have to do with political correctness or political disenfranchisement? How was McLendon "pushed to the wall"?

When O'Reilly has to step in to be the voice of reason, you're in serious trouble. Please get some help, Mr. Beck.

Don't think for a moment that Beck's recent craziness lets Jones off the hook, though. His comments on the unprovoked, violent spree of "the real Crocodile Dundee" were every bit as insane as Beck's comments on Michael McLendon.

Bend It Like Beck

In this clip from Fox News' Fox and Friends, Glenn Beck talks unskeptically about FEMA camps and hints that Obama's administration will be using socialism as a stepping-stone to Communism; pretty much the same stuff, expressed in the same manner, that Jones rants about each day. The opening credits of Beck's Fox show even eerily resemble the intros to Jones's documentaries, featuring scenes of oppression and tyranny. But when Beck talks about these things, Jones said yesterday, it's just a New World Order desensitizing scheme. (Frankly, I suspect he's a little miffed with Beck for stealing some of his thunder.)

Sheesh. Even when folks agree with Jones, he can't agree with them.

The upside of this is that finally, Mr. Jones and I can agree on something: Glenn Beck is a tool.

But do I think Beck, Pat Robertson, et. al. will do a New World Ordered turnaround and start championing U.S. socialism after Obama's evil plan for European-style socialism (and, paradoxically, concentration camp detainment of dissidents) becomes too obvious to hide any longer?

I'll let you know my answer when I've stopped laughing.

Meanwhile, here's a foolproof 3-step plan to avoid detainment in a FEMA camp:

1. If you don't already live in a disaster-prone part of the U.S., move to one immediately.
2.Wait for the inevitable (earthquake, tornado, volcanic eruption, etc.).
3.In the wake of the disaster, stand on the rooftop of your home and bellow for help as loudly as you can for days on end. It wouldn't hurt to have an elderly relative in a wheelchair or some squalling babies with you.
