Can Alex Jones Spot a Patsy?

These days, it is remarkably difficult to frame someone for a criminal act and get away with it for any appreciable length of time. Sooner or later, an astute journalist or filmmaker or lovelorn correspondent is going to realize that the wrong person is in prison, and they're going to attempt to do something about it. Thanks to the efforts of groups like the Innocence Project, false convictions in the U.S. are being overturned at record pace. In Canada, vigilant media outlets like the fifth estate have turned the falsely convicted into household names, raising awareness of shoddy investigative techniques and bogus expert testimony. In fact, even if a convict is guilty as all hell, a William F. Buckley might step in and persuade the public - and, more importantly, the parole board - that They Got the Wrong Guy. Patsies are certainly not a thing of the past, but it is now harder than ever to sustain a fraudulent case against a suspect.

How ironic, then, that Alex Jones and company have convinced a huge number of us that we live in the Age of the Patsy. Crazy gunmen are actually mind-controlled assassins, racist lunatic bombers are just drugged-up scapegoats, and homicidal hijackers don't even exist.
I've noticed a very interesting thing about Jones and patsies, though. I've mentioned it several times already (notably here), and recent events have reinforced my suspicions in a powerful way.
Here's the deal: If a suspect is thought to be right-wing, like the Boston bomb suspects, Jones will almost immediately denounce the entire case as a false flag operation engineered by one or more government entities (or, in non-U.S. cases like Norway, "globalists" - a handy umbrella term for anyone who does anything Jones doesn't like). But if the suspect appears to have left-leaning tendencies, like ricin-mailing suspect Paul Curtis, Jones and Infowars will float the official story with few questions asked. This was the case with James Lee, who burst into the offices of the Discovery Channel in 2010 and threatened to kill staff members for the corporation's alleged failure to adequately address climate change and environmental pollution. It was also the case with Arizona gunman Jared Loughner, whom Jones denounced as an "abortion-loving atheist" and Infowars declared as fitting into the "classic satanic/vampire cult wannabe mould" (whatever that is). Jones suggested these men could be under the influence of mind control and psychotropic drugs, but didn't refer to them as patsies or try to convince us they were the victims of government blackmail.

On that note, let's take a closer look at how Jones handled the recent ricin mailings and the Boston bombings.

Boston: Barely half an hour after the first reports of bomb blasts, Jones tweets his suspicion that this was a false flag event. Later, Infowars articles tie events in Boston to foiled terrorist plots in which the FBI was involved, and Jones declares the FBI his #1 suspect. Jones predicts that pro-gun advocates like Oath Keepers will be framed for the attack.
Ricin: Responding to reports that letters thought to contain ricin were intercepted en route to President Obama, a Mississippi judge, and Senator Roger Wicker, a Prison Planet article argues that Wicker, as a Republican supporter of Second Amendment rights, was not the victim of right-wing gun nuts (as some media commentators speculated). The article suggests They will attempt to link the ricin letters to Boston.

Boston: In numerous articles, Infowars casts doubt on what the media has to say about the "patsy" suspects. At one point, they even question whether Tamerlan Tsarnaev actually died or not, pointing to grainy unsourced footage of a naked man being detained by police.

Ricin: On the day of Curtis' arrest, Infowars publishes a single article about the ricin mailing, titled "Ricin Arrest: Suspect Appears to Be a Mentally Unstable Democrat". The article does not contradict or question mainstream media reports, and plays up a vaguely anti-gun comment that Curtis once left on HuffPo. There is no longer any suggestion that the ricin mailings could be part of a false flag operation.

Boston: Infowars publishes photos of two "suspects". Though these two men are not doing anything particularly suspicious in the photos, Jones insists they are either military contractors employed by Craft International or Navy SEALs, and that they are much stronger suspects than the Tsarnaev brothers. Jones continues to bang the drum about these two men despite the fact that he is fully aware of the dangers of fingering innocent people.
Ricin: Not a single alternative suspect is presented.

Boston: Jones theorizes the bombings were just an excuse to give the TSA increased powers and enable gun control.

Ricin: After the arrest of Curtis, no alternative theories are presented.

Boston: Jones gradually adds the CIA and other entities to his list of suspects. He continues to refer to the Tsarnaevs as patsies, but admits they might have been involved in some capacity.
Ricin: Still no alternative suspects. Infowars reposts an extremely brief story about Curtis' release without additional comment.

Paul "Kevin" Curtis looked like a pretty good suspect. An Elvis impersonator with a penchant for conspiracy theories, he supposedly used his own initials and a favourite quote in the ricin letters. Even his friends complained about his erratic and obnoxious behaviour. For the past 12 years, he has been zealously trying to expose an alleged organ-harvesting operation, claiming he was wrongfully fired from a custodial job at North Mississippi Medical Center after he found a severed head and other body parts in a morgue refrigerator. The guy is clearly a few croutons short of a salad, and Alex Jones has no love for the mentally ill.
But Curtis was not the guy. He was a patsy. Someone carefully culled information from his many Facebook posts and other online ramblings in order to incriminate him. Because Curtis had previously sent letters about organ harvesting to Sen. Wicker and several other politicians, the lookalike ricin letters quickly made him the prime suspect. There is one suspected culprit in this frame-up job, but to date there have been no other arrests in the case.
How is it that Alex Jones, with his amazing predictive powers and psychic ability, completely missed this? And just why was the Infowars crew so quick to accept mainstream media reports about Curtis, while simultaneously challenging each and every media report about Boston?
I won't answer that. As they say in the conspiracy world, I'm only asking questions.

Boston Not-so-solved

The FBI, Navy SEALs, high school student, cartoon writers conspired to take away your guns, even though no one is taking away your guns.
Don't worry. 4Chan is on the case.

It has now been well over 72 hours since the Boston bombings, and no one has attempted to place the blame Jones, Oath Keepers, or Patriots, as Jones predicted.
Jones is now blaming the FBI, and Infowars is promoting the idea that the case has already been solved by armchair detectives. Infowars: "4Chan posted dozens of photos showing Navy Seal or Private Security personnel carrying the same black back packs which are the same style backpacks showed in FBI photos." The New York Post did something similar yesterday, posting a photo of two young "suspects" standing in the crowd. There are currently reports that one of these "suspects" might be a Boston high school student
The two "Navy suspects" shown on Infowars are not the same two guys from the Post article, and the two men the FBI identified as suspects today are two entirely different people. We're dealing with three separate pairs of young men, yet Infowars is crowing, "Quite possibly, Infowars, with help from crowd sourced sites and a treasure trove of independent photos, may have held a huge part in destroying the official narrative the government intended to run with." Just how Infowars would know what investigators "intended to run with" is unclear. Jones said on Monday that They would try to pin the blame on gun-rights advocates, members of Oath Keepers, and/or Jones himself, but to date no one has attempted to blame any of these parties. No "official" narrative of any sort has emerged, in fact.
As of 5:50 CST, Infowars is still touting the possible high school student and the guy in the white hat as strong suspects, and in one of its lead articles brags that the "police confirm Infowars photos of Boston suspects". They're conflating these two "suspects" with the men in the FBI photos. Confused yet? Well, don't worry. Infowars clearly was, too. In a more recent post, an Infowars writer complains that the FBI has "ignored" their suspects of choice, referring to the men in the FBI photos as "patsies". But why would the Infowars "suspects", plucked from the crowd almost at random because they wore backpacks and appeared non-Caucasian, be more valid than the FBI guys - also non-whites with backpacks? The FBI claims to have video footage of one man setting down a backpack close to one of the blast sites. Infowars can make no such claim. They only have still photos that show nothing particularly incriminating.

Jones also jumped on the "predictive programming" in an episode of Family Guy, which featured Peter Griffin running over Boston Marathon runners with a car and (in a separate scene) setting off bombs with his cell phone. Someone cleverly edited the two scenes to make them look like one, and this trickery was exposed almost immediately. But some theorists still consider it suspicious.
Bizarrely, no one ever demands the arrests of these "predictive programmers". If Jones was right about this predictive programming in cartoons, Matt Groening and Mike Judge should be in jail.

I find it peculiar that Infowars is ignoring the massive blast in Texas. Is this event not false-flaggy enough to warrant the slightest bit of attention?

Why do mass murder conspiracy theories flourish, and how can I help stop them?

If you're on Facebook, or have conspiranoid coworkers, or live anywhere other than beneath a rock, you've probably heard at least one of the following conspiracy theories about the Aurora and/or Newtown shootings:
  •  James Holmes and Adam Lanza were mind controlled assassins, programmed to kill large numbers of people so that Obama/Communists/Rothschilds/whoever can push through restrictive legislation, damage the reputations of certain citizens, declare martial law, psychologically destabilize Americans, make blood sacrifices to the Devil, and/or distract us from "more important" things that are happening. Infowars promoted these theories, here and here and here and here. More recently, a fellow prison detainee claimed Holmes blames his therapist for programming him to be a killer, but there's no way of knowing at this time if Holmes actually said such a thing or not (IMO, it seems unlikely that Holmes would be left alone with another detainee for four hours, as Steven Unruh says). Nonetheless, the story was picked up by Infowars (here) and by The Huffington Post (here). Note that while the tone of the HuffPo article is justifiably skeptical, the Infowars article decries the mainstream media's neglect of this "shocking" story and uncritically takes Unruh's word for everything.
  • James Holmes' father, Robert, was scheduled to testify at a Senate hearing on the Libor interest rate scandal at the time of the Aurora massacre. Clearly, the bankers called in New World Order mind controllers to program his son to become a killer so that his invaluable testimony would never be heard. An Infowars forum user promoted this theory here.
  • Adam Lanza's father, Peter, was also scheduled to testify on the Libor banking scandal (the same Infowars forum user promoted this theory, here).
The last two theories are quite similar to one that surfaced after nanny Yoselyn Ortega murdered her two charges, the son and daughter of CNBC executive Kevin Krim. Several conspiracy sites, like this one, immediately adopted the theory that someone had programmed or otherwise manipulated Ortega into a double homicide and a suicide attempt because the CNBC website had published a report on a $43 trillion lawsuit that has been filed against "banksters" and a laundry list of financial entities. The theorists noted that the article was removed almost as soon as it appeared, meaning Krim may have recognized his children's murder as a message to continue keeping a lid on the lawsuit. However, this "report" turned out to be a press release from Spire, the law firm behind the lawsuit. Chances are good that it was posted on CNBC by accident, then removed when someone realized it wasn't a legit news story. In all likelihood, because it so incredibly broad and vague, the lawsuit will be tossed out of court. I doubt the banking establishment is at all concerned about it. Furthermore, when Ortega recovered from her self-inflicted wounds and spoke with investigators a week after the murders, she made it clear that her crime was motivated by her resentment over being allegedly treated like a maid by the Krims. This is starkly at odds with one blogger's confident assertion: "That is, a priori, and without any detailed detective work, I feel there is roughly a 9 in 10 chance that Lucia and Leo have been murdered by rogue elements of the United States government."
On closer examination, the shooting theories are equally groundless. Robert Holmes was employed as an anti-fraud specialist for FICO, the credit-scoring company, but he had no connection to the Libor affair. There was no Senate hearing scheduled, anyway.
Adam Lanza's father has no link to the scandal, either. Max Keiser.com and Occupy Corporatism, among other alt media outlets, have been doing their best to debunk this bit of misinfo. They allege that it originated with Sorcha Faal, the same peculiar conspiracy-monger who was behind one of the least credible conspiracy theories about Michael Jackson's death.
No actual evidence has emerged to indicate that either James Holmes or Adam Lanza were in any way influenced, coerced, or brainwashed into committing their crimes.

So misinformation is the backbone of these theories. Another part of the problem is that the average person has little to no knowledge of criminology. That's probably a good thing - knowing how criminals behave isn't exactly a marketable skill. But when it comes to creating conspiracy theories, it's going to seriously hamper your ability to put together a coherent and plausible narrative. One thing I hear a lot in connection to mass murder is that the killer looked blank, glassy-eyed, or robotic. This is presented as proof that the killer was under some form of mind control. In reality, if you talked to and/or observed people with Intermittent Rage Disorder or Antisocial Personality Disorder (to give just two examples), you would quickly learn that these people can and do appear poker-faced when carrying out crimes that would turn other people's stomachs. The survivors of their crimes can tell you this. A man with Intermittent Rage Disorder once told me he feels paradoxically calm and focused during his rages.
If you review mass murders of the past, you'll find that the killers' motivations were generally not political in nature (Anders Breivik would be a notable exception). For them, it was personal. They were, for the most part, emotionally or mentally disturbed individuals who killed in retaliation for real or perceived slights. Some did it for pure enjoyment (I believe Eric Harris falls into this category; Dylan Klebold went along for the ride, and seemingly remained in denial right up to the time of his death).

So how can you help prevent the spread of shoddy, factually-challenged conspiracy theories? Before turning an online conspiracy theory into copypasta, do yourself the following favours:
  1.  Take 5 minutes out of your day to hit the search engines of your choice and make sure the information is accurate (odds are, it isn't, and you've just saved yourself some time and energy). Remember that anyone can be wrong, so information isn't necessarily reliable just because it has been repeated by a certain source.
  2. Apply common sense to the situation. For instance, if Adam Lanza is a Manchurian Candidate, who programmed him? He was homeschooled, so it couldn't be those godless public school Commie teachers. He didn't have a job, so it couldn't be his boss. His mom wasn't exactly up to New World Order mind controller standards. Besides, would some shadowy government entity spend months or years grooming an unstable and unreliable young man to become an assassin, when mercenaries and unscrupulous criminals and CIA agents can be hired on the cheap to accomplish the same task more efficiently?
  3. Apply Occam's Razor for good measure. Is it more likely that a sadistic or deranged person decided to commit a crime, or is it more likely that a government-funded Svengali flawlessly conditioned him to commit a crime? If a liquor store is robbed, do you automatically assume that a mind-controlled patsy did it, or do you assume that some cash-hungry creep did it?

The Blame Game: Screw It

18 children under the age of 11 have been killed by a 20-year-old gunman, and I am in no mood for this Manchurian Candidate nonsense today. I've had quite enough of the Infowars Blame Game of offloading blame for atrocities onto anyone but the perpetrators. Every time someone murders schoolchildren or innocent bystanders because he's suffering from a severe mental illness, is a sociopath, or wants to get even with the powers that be, Jones and Company take a cursory look at the initial reports, draw a sweeping conclusion from the limited facts available, and stick to it no matter what subsequently emerges. Did a racist kill a museum worker because he couldn't stand his tax dollars going toward Holocaust education? Well, no, he was actually blackmailed by some shadowy government entity - even though there is zero evidence for that. Did a Norwegian douchebag open fire on a kids' camp because he didn't like the political affiliation of the organizers? Nope, he's just a patsy in a New World Order scheme to suppress Norway's version of libertarians - even though he went into great detail about his motives in court.
Have you ever been right about this stuff, Infowars? If you're such master profilers, maybe you should tackle some cold cases. The Lindbergh baby? Mind-controlled patsies took him. The Black Dahlia? Probably a "Valkyrie-style takeover drill".

As for the Second Ammendment concerns that Infowars places above everything else in the latest school shooting (even the lives lost), and their complaints about celebrities calling for gun control, a Facebook friend expressed it best:
When someone reacts to this shooting by talking about how to prevent future events like it, they're "politicizing tragedy." What would you call it when someone reacts by screaming about how disgusted they are that the government may take steps to limit their capacity to shoot people? (Even though it probably won't.)
Is anyone really impressed by Infowars' lazy, gun-jumping b.s.? Does a hastily-typed report by Paul Joseph Watson actually convince you that the latest crazy asshole must be a New World Order zombie, even though everything in it has been culled from mainstream media reports that are supposedly far less reliable than Infowars? Well, then, you just might be living in a sick, dismal fantasy world. And maybe you should stay there. I really don't care today.
Rather than struggling to distort this tragedy to fit my political ends, I'm going to see it for what it is (a terrible crime against children) and mourn for the many families who have been devastated by it.

The Blame Game: Hollywood Edition

Jones is heavily into "predictive programming" analysis these days, looking for clues to the globalist agenda in cartoons, magazines, and especially Hollywood movies. Last month, he pointed to an illustration in a 1994 issue of Vice, featuring Beavis and Butthead as Al Qaeda terrorists circling the Twin Towers in little airplanes, as a classic example of "predictive programming". That's when bad guys tell you exactly what they're going to do to you before they do it because their ancient, heathen math religion demands a willing victim (you know, like Cabin in the Woods). The problem with this brilliant theory is, the issue was actually a mock-up of a 1994 magazine to commemorate Vice's 15th anniversary - written, illustrated, and printed in 2009. Vice explained this before Jones went on the air with his "Beavis and Butthead predicted 9/11" rant, so a 30-second 'Net search would have saved him the trouble.

Most of the time, Jones doesn't actually watch the movies before he puts out a video dissecting the globalist symbolism and programming in them. Instead, he claims to have a "leaked" copy of the script or an "early draft" of the script, and he bases all his conclusions on that. Which is a terrible idea, considering that even when Jones actually goes to a movie and watches it from beginning to end, he doesn't understand what he's watching and gets everything horribly wrong. Watch his factually challenged Watchmen review or his unintentionally hilarious Squidbillies analysis or his off-topic rant about GMO corn in his review of The Road to see what I mean. Or just look around you and see if you can spot the signs of the epic race war that was supposed to be unleashed by the action-comedy Machete.
I was already working on a post about his absurd analysis of Prometheus when this Dark Knight Rises thing came up. Last night, my Significant Other played Jones's analysis of the film (below) twice (Jones claims to have a leaked copy of the script), then we discussed how alarmist and off-base it was, and how Jones (particularly in some of his gun ads) tries to inspire fear and anger in his audiences. I also noticed that Jones tends to identify with the angriest, least rational, most unpredictably violent characters in films (The Joker as played by Heath Ledger, Rorschach in Watchmen).

As soon as I woke up and heard that people in Aurora, Colorado had been shot at a midnight screening of Dark Knight Rises, I thought, "Oh, great. An Alex Jones fan has snapped."
Jones is already bitching about the same thing, saying the media is trying to blame him for the shooting.
That is absolutely not the case. None of the mainstream outlets have been able to find out anything about the gunman's personal tastes - his apartment is reportedly booby-trapped with suspicious-looking bottles of fluid and/or possible explosive devices - so his taste in radio broadcasters is still very much unknown. Jones has not been mentioned in any mainstream news story.
Regardless of what they find in that apartment, though, it's obvious that James Eaton Holmes could not have been inspired solely by Jones's "analysis" of The Dark Knight Rises. He already had a flak vest and gas canisters or smokebombs and a little arsenal at his disposal by that time. Also - and I don't mean to be unkind - I don't think aspiring neuroscientists are among Jones's hardcore fans. Until last month, Holmes was studying neuroscience at the University of Colorado (he already has a degree from the University of California Riverside).

No one knows Holmes's motives yet, except for Alex Jones. He has it all figured out. And so do you, if you're a regular listener. You already know what he's going to say. You already know how to play the Blame Game. But for those who may have missed it, here's a review of what Jones has had to say about the other crazed gunmen and mass murderers of recent years, culled from earlier posts on this blog.

- Timothy McVeigh made it crystal clear that he planned the Oklahoma City Bombing partly in retaliation for the Waco massacre. But in Jonestown, he's just an FBI patsy whose handlers probably told him he was fighting white supremacists, and he confessed in graphic detail on multiple occasions only because he was drugged by the CIA.

- For over 20 years, elderly racist James Von Brunn made it extremely clear that he loathed non-whites and non-Christians. But when Von Brunn walked into the D.C. Holocaust Museum in 2009 and opened fire on the security guards, Alex Jones declared  the shooting was probably engineered jointly by the government (as part of what he called a "Valkyrie takeover drill") and the Anti-Defamation League. Von Brunn was possibly threatened into participating. He has not provided any evidence to back up these theories.

- When Joseph Stack intentionally crashed an airplane into an Austin office tower in February 2010, he left behind a vitriolic letter blaming the IRS for all his troubles. Jones talked about the attack on-air for about 3 hours before suddenly deciding he had predicted the attack with his earlier rants about the Great Tea Partier Frameup of 2010 that never actually happened. Stack, too, was not what he seemed (a tax deadbeat with anger issues), but a government patsy who was somehow manipulated into plowing a plane into a building.

- When children shoot up their schools, it's not because they're mentally ill or because they're psychotic little assholes, even if the videos and writings they leave behind point clearly in one of those directions. It's because of psych meds they might not even be taking.
Jones once stated, "We didn't have these school shootings until 1988, when Prozac came out." At one point, Paul Joseph Watson of Infowars actually tried to pin Mark Chapman's murder of John Lennon on Prozac...which wasn't even available until two years after Lennon's death.
This SSRI theory ignores the fact that many of the worst school massacres, including the worst one in American history, occurred long before these drugs were on the market. For instance, a California vice principal killed five of his colleagues and injured a sixth in 1940.

- Lee Harvey Oswald was a CIA/military plant who didn't shoot at anyone. He was forced to pose as a leftist by his handlers. Even as a teenager and even when no one was looking, I guess.

- January 9, 2011: Jones explained that Jared Loughner is probably a government mind-controlled assassin and an abortion-loving atheist Commie. Weirdly, he's also linked to white supremacy and was a fan of Jones's frequent guest David Icke, who teaches us that the elites are lizard hybrids rather than people, but that's not very important.
Jones admitted there wasn't a lot of evidence (read: any evidence) that Loughner is a Manchurian Candidate, but like all other Candidates, he was preoccupied with mind control. So are many mentally ill people, but never mind that. Federal zombie assassins are way more interesting.

- When James Lee entered Discovery Channel headquarters and threatened to shoot employees for not doing enough to save the planet, leaving behind a radical environmentalist screed, Alex Jones accepted the media's explanation at face value. So you see, when a right-wing extremist shoots people, he's only doing it on behalf of the government (or because he has been drugged and/or threatened by the government). His stated motives are not the real motives, and his intended goal is not his intended goal. But if a left-wing extremist shoots people, he really is doing exactly what he says he's doing.

- After Anders Breivik opened fire on schoolchildren and bombed a building in Norway last year, Jones suddenly realized that Infowars predicted the Norway attacks the day before they happened. He explained it all in these video messages.
Never mind that Infowars started out speculating that Middle Eastern terrorists could be responsible for the Norway attacks, or that within hours of the attacks, Kurt Nimmo concluded the whole thing was really a false flag NWO attack designed to crush the growing populist movement in Norway. Then Infowars decried the mainstream media's scapegoating of Middle Eastern terrorists. Pot, meet kettle.
Throughout all this nonsense, Infowars didn't say anything about Jones predicting the attacks. So did he actually call it, just like he "predicted" the Austin plane crash? No. What Jones griped about the day before the Norway attacks was the use of white terror suspects in DHS terrorism-awareness videos. These are the same hokey PSA videos I discussed earlier in the year. In his opinion, they're a huge part of the NWO effort to brand white populists like himself as The New Threat to Mankind. In my opinion, they're generic PSAs. The reason the vids don't feature Middle Eastern men acting suspiciously is because the DHS didn't want to come off as a bunch of racists.

The "patsy" Breivik confessed to his crimes and the motivations for them in such excruciating detail and with such obvious enthusiasm that the court actually ordered him to stop, realizing he was using his trial as a soapbox for a racist, pathologically anti-Communist credo. What an awful patsy. Aren't patsies supposed to sit down and shut up? And what awful globalist plotters - if they wanted Breivik's "false flag" crimes to be seen as a threat to society, then why didn't they let him natter on and on in court?

And now we have Holmes, another Manchurian Candidate (he was in a neuroscience program - isn't that enough evidence?). He was probably a Democrat. He was probably given powerful drugs, then taken to a private screening of the new Batman movie so that he would be programmed to "channel" the villain, Bane. That's the whole point of Hollywood comic book movies: Department of Defense programming.
Public officials are now trying to merge reality with Hollywood fiction by referring to Holmes as The Joker, sucking us all into the illusion that we live in Gotham with superheroes and supervillains. Never mind that it was Holmes himself who allegedly dyed his hair orange and told police, "I'm the Joker." Never mind that Jones himself once went on a Joker binge, painting his face to deliver weird rants and mass-producing Obama-as-Joker T-shirts and posters.
The point, as always, is gun control (the UN Arms Trade treaty Obama is set to sign) and social conditioning psy-ops (encouraging some of us to be violent and the rest of us to be fearful and subservient to authority). Like I said, Jones has it all figured out. He's practically psychic.

5 Crazy Notions 'til Christmas: Israel was behind the Norway massacre

Jones and the Infowars crew declared, hours after Anders Breivik's rampage, that the whole thing was a false flag terror operation headed by globalists, as an excuse to crack down on white, anti-banker activists. But Infowars was happy to leave the door open for other stupid, unsupported theories.

In a piece was re-posted to Infowars, Jones's frequent guest Wayne Madsen wrote that because Breivik was reportedly a fan of Pamela Geller's blog, this all but proves he was part of an Israeli Mossad operation to take over... well, pretty much everything.
He writes, "Because our police forces in America, New Zealand, Norway, Britain, Sweden, Denmark, France, Canada, Australia and elsewhere are infiltrated with Mossad sayanim, katsas, and jumper katsas, we must take it upon ourselves to expose these agents, publicize their names, turn the disinfectant of sunshine on their subterranean operations, and generally, make life miserable for them."

Pamela Geller (a leading opponent of the "Ground Zero Mosque") had informed us that while, yes, Breivik's behaviour was monstrous, the Liberal-sponsored youth camp he targeted was an "indoctrination camp run by Norway’s ruling Labor Party for up-and-coming children of the ruling elite".
This was also pointed by Alex Jones's ideological twin, Glenn Beck, on his radio show. As reported by The Telegraph, Beck said: "There was a shooting at a political camp, which sounds a little like, you know, the Hitler youth. I mean, who does a camp for kids that's all about politics? Disturbing."
He made a point of adding that a Republican youth camp would also be disturbing. I guess his fact-checker took the year day off, and couldn't tell him about this. It's a little creepy, sure, but "Hitler youth"?

Madsen seemed confident of his wild-ass guess, but to most people Geller's callous post does not in any way indicate Mossad involvement in Breivik's crimes. The desire to believe was there, but the evidence simply wasn't.

Then, four days ago, Prison Planet re-posted this article from YNet: "Swedish professor links Israel to Norway massacre". The title sounds pretty solid, right? But the article itself shows us only a "hint" of some possible link. The professor brings no actual evidence to the table.

Keep trying, guys. Sooner or later, if you keep going in this direction, you'll be the Jew-haters you seem to aspire to be.

12 Crazy Notions 'til Christmas: Mass shootings are never what they seem, unless leftists perpetrate them

Jones has yet to unreel any wacky theories about today's events in Belgium, but let's review what he and the Infowars crew had to say about a few other crazed gunmen (usually within hours of their attacks):

James von Brunn, the Holocaust Museum shooter, the deranged geriatric racist who shot and killed security guard Stephen Johns: The attack was part of a government "Valkyrie takeover drill", and von Brunn was probably either blackmailed or persuaded to shoot the security guards by the Anti-Defamation League.

Rod Ansell, the inspiration for Crocodile Dundee, who ambushed police and killed officer Glen Huitson in 1999: He was a victim of police tyranny. "First they took away his guns, then they shot him." (Clearly, no one took away his guns. While Australia's gun laws are extreme, Ansell was not a martyr and should definitely not be a poster boy for gun ownership.)

Anders Breivik: He was a patsy. The whole thing was a globalist false flag attack designed to "destroy political opposition to the bankers". This was Kurt Nimmo's second theory. His first was that Al Qaeda would be blamed.
Jones claims he predicted this attack with his criticism of some Department of Homeland Security videos.

Pretty much every single school shooting: The gunmen went out of their minds after taking SSRIs (antidepressants). This ignores the fact that many of the worst school massacres, including the worst one in American history, occurred long before these drugs were on the market. For instance, a California vice principal killed five of his colleagues and injured a sixth in 1940.
Jones once stated, "We didn't have these school shootings until 1988, when Prozac came out." At one point, Paul Joseph Watson of Infowars actually tried to pin Mark Chapman's murder of John Lennon on Prozac...which wasn't even available until two years after Lennon's death.

Interestingly, when manic environmentalist James Lee rampaged through the offices of the Discovery Channel in 2010, Jones was perfectly okay with the mainstream media's version of events.

Fritz Springmeier, "political prisoner"?

On Halloween, Alex Jones conducted a Skype interview with Fritz Springmeier, who was released from prison in March. You can watch the full interview on Infowars, but here's the first part:

I have written about Fritz Springmeier many times in passing. He has appeared at least once on this blog ("Al Gore and the Suitcase of Blood"), several times on Swallowing the Camel, and quite a few times on blogs dealing with "Satanic panic".

It would be exhausting and rather pointless to detail his entire career here, but if you're unfamiliar with Springmeier, here are some details you may want to know:

  • Born in 1955, he used the name Victor Earl Schoof until legally changing it to Fritz Springmeier in 1987.
  • He says he attended West Point, but did not.
  • He professes to be a very religious man, and once ran a sort of Christian lay ministry (he is not an ordained minister, and does not have any theological training).
  • In 1997 he allegedly circulated a strange "affidavit", accusing several other Christian ministers, including Alex Jones's mentor Texe Marrs, or trying to sabotage this ministry. "Several people have told me my ex-wife is controlled by demons and given her life to Satan," he wrote of his second wife, Gail.
  • To his mind, every religious tradition outside of the Judeo-Christian is basically Satanism. This includes ancient Egyptian beliefs, Theosophy, and any form of occultism. Oh, and Jehovah's Witnesses. And the Catholic Church. In a 1996 Prophecy Club lecture, Springmeier said every human on Earth is tracked from birth to death by Jesuit priests.
  • His conspiracy writing and lectures have been a huge influence on David Icke. Much of Springmeier's misinfo has made it into Icke's books. For example, the Belgian castle called Chateau Amerois is referred to by both Springmeier and Icke as the "Mothers of Darkness" castle, in which the elite hold ghastly Satanic rituals and slaughter children.
  • In the early '90s, he became deeply interested in the subject of government mind control programs, and trained himself to be a deprogrammer of women who allegedly survived "Project Monarch", a supposed offshoot of MK-ULTRA*. He ended up leaving his second wife and young son for one of these women, Cisco Wheeler. Together they authored books and gave lectures on Illuminati mind control techniques. Their best-known work is the massive book The Illuminati Formula Used to Create an Undetectable Mind Controlled Slave.
  • Cisco Wheeler, like all alleged Monarch victims, was deliberately programmed to have multiple personalities (Dissociative Identity Disorder). One of her alter personalities was a cat.
  • Springmeier's take on history is, um, creative. In the Prophecy Club lecture cited above, he declared that Hitler was descended from the Rothschilds. You'll see more of his unique interpretations of history later in this post.
  • He really, and I mean really, hates The Wizard of Oz. He's convinced it's a Satanic parable used in the mind control programming and ritual torture of young children. He thinks the same of every film, book, and TV show that appears to reference Oz in any way (for instance, the movie K-Pax).
  • In his book Bloodlines of the Illuminati, Springmeier attempted to identify the 13 families that have controlled the world for centuries. His M.O. was to tick off lists of prominent people with the same last name, without bothering to ascertain if they were actually related to one another, then link them to the Illuminati by the most tenuous connections. For example, reporter Robert Collins was implicated simply because he had the surname Collins and because the Illuminati "control the press" (Springmeier provided no evidence that the Illuminati does, in fact, control the press). Likewise, he tied serial killer Ted Bundy to the Bundy/McBundy families, and explained that his sadistic sociopathic condition is quite typical of Illuminati members, even though Bundy's name came from a working class stepfather.
  • In the '80s, he vociferously defended "former Illuminati member" John Todd long after Todd's stories were shown to be fraudulent. The late Mr. Todd was a "Christian" con artist posing as a former Satanist. He was also a convicted rapist. Though he had a long history of complaints against him for propositioning teenage girls, and faced related criminal charges several times, Springmeier insisted that Todd's rape conviction was a frame-up by (who else?) the Illuminati. At one point, he even claimed that Todd had been abducted from prison and murdered by Illuminati agents in 1994. This was not true. Todd was released from prison in 2004, was remanded into custody as a dangerous sex offender, and died a natural death three years later. Now, Springmeier uses the same cry of frame-up in reference to his own criminal activities.
  • In their book Deeper Insights Into the Illuminati Formula, Springmeier and Wheeler state that the Illuminati has been creating "synthetic humans" (made partly from cows) since the 1970s.
  • In 2001, he and his third wife, Patricia, were arrested for having a marijuana grow op in conjunction with a white supremacist, Forrest E. Bateman, Sr. Bateman was convicted in 1989 of racially intimidating a high school student in Forest Grove, Oregon, and three years later he appeared on the state police's Ten Most Wanted list for firearm offenses and assault connected to skinhead activities. And now we get to the heart of the matter...

Kooky as he was, and annoying as his continuous stream of nonsense could be, I had no reason to suspect that Springmeier was in any way a violent man. So I was shocked in 2002, when Springmeier was indicted on charges of planting a bomb in an adult video store and robbing a bank in Damascus, Oregon, years earlier.

Here's what happened: On the afternoon of October 8, 1997, a propane bomb exploded in the Fantasy Adult Video Store in Damascus. No one was injured.

Roughly ten minutes later and six miles away, a man in camo fatigues, later identified as Forrest Bateman, Sr., walked into the Damascus branch of Key Bank of Oregon and demanded cash from a teller, firing his assault rifle at the ceiling to intimidate bank employees and patrons into complying with his demands. He exited the bank with a mere $6000.

The bombing and robbery went unsolved until 2001, when police discovered the pot operation Springmeier, his wife, and some friends were running.
Springmeier and Bateman were arrested after deputies of the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office seized fifty marijuana plants, bomb-making materials and illegal weapons**, and Army of God literature from Bateman’s home in Sandy, Oregon, in February. Anthony Huntington (Bateman's housemate), Patricia Springmeier, and a woman named Jennifer Williams were also arrested. Bateman already had outstanding warrants against him for of assault and illegal possession of an assault rifle.
The FBI was brought into the case because of the weapons and Army of God literature, which indicated possible terrorist activities.

Anthony Huntington turned out to be the weakest link in the robbery chain. Faced with serious prison time for weapons and drug charges, he confessed his own role in planning the 1997 bombing and bank robbery, and gave up the names of his co-conspirators, including Springmeier and Bateman (most reports hint there was at least one other man involved, but no other co-conspirators are named). The drug and weapons charges were dropped and replaced with charges related to the bombing and robbery.

Batemen pled guilty and was sentenced to 9 years in prison. Springmeier pled not guilty, was convicted, and received the same sentence as Bateman. Huntington, for his testimony against Bateman and Springmeier, received a reduced sentence for his role in the bombing and robbery. He was released in 2005.
It should be noted that the longest prison term was served not by Springmeier, but by Bateman. Bateman was released from prison in September, a full seven months after Springmeier.

In my opinion, these three guys got off easy: Five and nine years are ridiculously short sentences for two violent crimes that could easily have resulted in fatalities.

Now here's where the "political prisoner" part comes into play. Springmeier claims total innocence in this affair. His story is that he knew Huntington only from Bible study. He knew nothing about the bombing, he knew nothing about the robbery, and the whole thing was a frame-up. He has even said he has an alibi: He was working at a print shop in Eagle Creek, a town ten miles from Damascus, exactly when the robbery occurred. But his boss refused to confirm this, he says, because Springmeier had once offended him by criticizing Billy Graham.

According to Fritz, he was framed for a variety of reasons: He helped people leave the Illuminati, he published his mind control research, he exposed an "entire community" of Illuminati members in Bend, Oregon (forcing them to sell their homes and move elsewhere).
He insists there was no evidence against him (both he and Jones betray a total lack of understanding of just what circumstantial evidence is, and how powerful it can be when used properly). He claims the three witnesses who testified against him at trial were bribed, though he presents no evidence of this. Not even circumstantial evidence.

Hard information about the case is scanty. Most of the original news articles have been taken down, and Internet searches just bring up the same small amount of info provided by Springmeier's supporters (you'll find dozens of re-posts of Henry Makow's essay "How Fritz Springmeier Was Framed", which will not tell you how Fritz Springmeier was framed; it's simply more of Makow's usual "the Illuminati did everything and that's the end of it" b.s.).

It is not known to me precisely why Springmeier was growing pot, nor why he decided to take part in a bank robbery. The authorities seem to think he and his buddies were "fundraising" for even more sinister activities, such as bombing abortion clinics or federal buildings. It's entirely possible, however, that Springmeier just wanted some cash.

In spite of his association with the racist Bateman, I have found no evidence that Springmeier is directly involved with organized racist or racial separatist groups. His wife maintains that he is not a racist.
He does have some peculiar ideas about Nazis and Jews, though. In Deeper Insights Into the Illuminati Formula, he and Wheeler contend that the Nazi concentration camps were established not because the Nazis wanted to confine and exterminate citizens they deemed non-Aryan, but simply to perform mind control experiments on children. The racial supremacy thing was just a "cover". And he espouses conspiracy theories that Jewish people essentially control the world. In Bloodlines of the Illuminati, he and Wheeler wrote, "Since the core of the conspiracy of power is Jewish, the attitude of those allied with it hinges on their attitude toward the Jewish people." They also stated that Oliver Cromwell was "financed by Jews, and helped the Jews gain power in England."
It has been widely reported that Springmeier penned literature for the Christian Patriot Organization, an allegedly white supremacist group that operated an illegal warehouse bank in Oregon. I have found no evidence of this.

Is it possible that Springmeier was framed? Sure. Not likely, but certainly possible. Given the dearth of reliable, readily available info on the case, it's difficult to discern exactly what happened here. To reach an opinion on the case, you have to rely heavily on hearsay and on Fritz's word.

I choose not to believe Springmeier because he is not credible. He already had a criminal record (for parental abduction), and was engaged in drug-related activity, before the bank robbery charges were filed. He hung around with a skinhead bank robber, which is creepy any way you look at it. He believes - or wants us to believe - that fake Illuminati cowpeople walk among us, and that Auschwitz was more a science lab than a death camp. There's just no reason to take his his word for anything. Springmeier is one odd, shady dude.

Alex Jones has a history of supporting incarcerated people who were definitely not persecuted, yet insist they were. Remember Ed and Elaine Brown, the elderly New Hampshire couple who decided that paying income tax is for fools, and were duly convicted (after an armed stand-off) of not paying their taxes? They cried foul from prison, and Alex Jones put them on the air to share their story with the world. What he did not share with the world were the couple's various allegations that Freemasons, Zionists, Illuminati members, and Jesuits had framed them. That would have seemed silly to most of his listeners, because it's fairly obvious that Freemasons and priests don't give a flying crap about a couple of goofy senior citizens in rural New England who don't feel like paying their taxes.

The same goes for Springmeier, of course. The Powers That Be aren't particularly interested in persecuting small-town Oregonians who publish underground books full of weird mind control instructions, quirky religious beliefs, and warnings about synthetic cowpeople. If they did, Alex Jones wouldn't have many guests left.

I know I'll be getting a shitstorm of emails about this, along the lines of "You don't know if Fritz is innocent or not!". Yeah, well, Jones doesn't know either. In the opening of the video, he makes it clear that he based his opinion of Springmeier's sincerity on vibes: "I didn't get any bad vibes from him, and I know that that's always the real signal." Somehow, I don't think that would stand up in court.
Also, Jones has been selling Bloodlines of the Illuminati, and it would certainly not be to his benefit to admit that he's been hawking the wares of a convicted bomber and bank robber, would it?

*
H.P. Albarelli, Jr., spent nearly two decades researching the CIA and its mind control programs. He uncovered startling new evidence, but he found no evidence of Monarch, nor any comparable program. However, he did locate a man who admitted "the Monarch Project" was something he invented.
** According to one report: a machine gun, a grenade launcher, an assault rifle, a sawed-off shotgun, 3000 rounds of ammunition, ammonium nitrate, homemade C4 explosives, six homemade grenades, dynamite blasting caps, primers, fuses, black powder, and 200 timing devices, as well as a bizarre "suit of armor" made out of ceramic bearing an Army of God patch

The Blame Game: Norway Edition

It's not
entirely Anders Breivik's fault that he slaughtered dozens of innocent people. We should also blame the New World Order, Muslims, liberals, Jews, people who don't like Jews, and maybe Hitler.

As Alex Jones showed us, the Powers That Be staged a false-flag terror attack in Norway expressly to give themselves an excuse to squash all patriots who oppose big government and "bankster" fraud. This isn't a Norwegian thing; it's a globalist elite thing. So we must remember that domestic terrorism is not the real threat, here.

Pat Buchanan, who has been a guest on The Alex Jones Show several times, may not agree with the first part of that statement, but he's totally on board with the end of it: The media is using the massacre to undermine right-wing populist movements throughout the world. Domestic terrorism isn't the real problem.

Muslims are. Specifically, Muslims immigrating into countries like Norway. In a column at World Net Daily He writes:

"... awful as this atrocity was, native-born and homegrown terrorism is not the macro-threat to the continent. That threat comes from a burgeoning Muslim presence in a Europe that has never known mass immigration, its failure to assimilate, its growing alienation, and its sometime sympathy for Islamic militants and terrorists."

In conclusion:

"As for a climactic conflict between a once-Christian West and an Islamic world that is growing in numbers and advancing inexorably into Europe for the third time in 14 centuries, on this one, Breivik may be right."

Meanwhile, Pamela Geller (a leading opponent of the "Ground Zero Mosque") informs us that while, yes, Breivik's behaviour was monstrous, the Liberal-sponsored youth camp he targeted was an "indoctrination camp run by Norway’s ruling Labor Party for up-and-coming children of the ruling elite".
The same sentiment was expressed by Alex Jones's ideological twin, Glenn Beck, on his radio show. As reported by The Telegraph: "There was a shooting at a political camp, which sounds a little like, you know, the Hitler youth. I mean, who does a camp for kids that's all about politics? Disturbing."
He made a point of adding that a Republican youth camp would also be disturbing. I guess his fact-checker took the year day off, and couldn't tell him about this. It's a little creepy, sure, but "Hitler youth"?

Frequent Jones guest Wayne Madsen has a different take: Because Breivik was reportedly a fan of Pamela Geller's blog, this all but proves he was part of an Israeli Mossad operation to take over... well, pretty much everything.

Madsen's piece was re-posted to Infowars.

The Norwegian Massacre Mystery Is Solved

Thank you, Infowars!

As mentioned in the last post ("Let's All Jump to Conclusions"), Kurt Nimmo of Infowars has decided that Anders Breivik is "obviously a patsy for a Gladio operation to destroy political opposition to the bankers." The Powers That Be in Norway were fed up with populist opposition to the New World Order agenda, so they staged a false flag terrorist attack that implicates a right-wing, anti-government terrorist.

Sounds good. But just for fun, let's be contrarian and examine this theory a little.

Evidence for a false-flag attack:

1. Breivik belonged to Norway's Progressive Party, a populist libertarian party that opposes big government and economic bailouts.
As Nimmo himself states, however, Breivik hasn't been a member of the Progressive Party for four years. Wouldn't it make more sense to frame, I dunno, a current member? If you pick a patsy whose membership has lapsed for nearly half a decade, the sensible members of the public will just assume that Breivik no longer subscribes to the PP platform, and conclude that his involvement isn't germane to what happened Friday.

Breivik's major beef, if the video and manifesto attributed to him are authentic, was Muslim immigrants. If you wanted an anti-government/anti-big business patsy, would you pick this guy? No. You'd pick a guy who makes incoherent vids about the evils of banksterism.

Protip: If you're trying to destroy the reputation of a large political movement by making its members look like psychotic mass murderers, you might want to frame more than one guy, and make sure they actually belong to said political movement.

2. Lots of false flag attacks have been staged.
Well, yes. And lots of people have gone on shooting rampages for any number of dipshit reasons.

3. The Norway massacre has been likened to the Oklahoma City bombing, and that was a false flag attack designed to squash the Patriot movement.
Really? Then why did every other douchebag in Washington try to pin it on Middle Eastern terrorists? Did they not get the memo?

4. Breivik may have been a Freemason. Another gunman who targeted children, Thomas Hamilton of Scotland, was a Freemason - and perhaps part of a Freemasonic conspiracy.
The Dunblane conspiracy theories are, to be blunt and crude, fucking retarded. And no, I don't mean retarded in a developmentally disabled way. I mean retarded in the I-have-a-fully-functional-mind-but-I'd-rather-waste-it-thinking-up-idiotic-conspiracy-fairytales way. The Dunblane theory is basically this: The Scottish Powers That Be wanted to outlaw guns, but They knew The People would fight them tooth and nail. So they blackmailed or persuaded a mentally unstable pedophile Freemason to go into a school and shoot as many little children as possible. Voila! Problem solved! No more guns, and only 16 innocent Scottish children had to die.

To buy this theory, you have to ignore the fact that the Tory government didn't outlaw handguns, but restricted legal handguns to single-shot .22s. This was on the recommendation of the Home Affairs Select Committee, which advised that outlawing all handguns would be worthless "panic legislation". It was the Liberal [correction: Labour] government that put a ban on all handguns. If the sinister master plan was to get rid of guns, then the Tories would have done it ASAP. They're good at sinister master plans.

The shooter, Thomas Hamilton, was very peeved that people kept getting in the way of his youth group leadership (he was turfed from the Scouts back in the '70s for inappropriate behaviour, but had set up several "youth clubs" since that time). He was continuously getting complaints from parents, and felt that his favourite activity was about to be taken away from him. He was also unemployed and completely freaking insane.

Theoretically, yes, Masons could blackmail other Masons to do all kinds of wacky stuff. But I don't suppose that's any more common than plain old blackmail.

5. The blasts may have come from beneath the buildings, rather than from a car bomb. Whew! Finally, some meaty physical evidence!
Or maybe not. According to this article by Paul Joseph Watson, the source is the father of an anonymous Norwegian emailer. According to Anon's dad, an explosives expert, the "pattern of damage and debris" reveal the blast came from underground. Until this alleged guy gives us some details, or someone else notices the same thing, I'd say this piece of evidence is thinner than lefse.

And to get all semantic and shit, let's remember that the term "patsy" was originally used to denote scapegoats; innocent or marginally involved people blamed for someone else's actions. Nowadays the word is used promiscuously, slapped on everyone from co-conspirators to masterminds who get busted for their minions' doings. This is bullshit. Real patsies are not involved in the plot, don't know there even is a plot, and probably won't admit to doing anything wrong unless there's some heavy-duty coercive questioning going on.
As Breivik has already reportedly confessed to this crime without implicating even one accomplice, he's likelier to be the guy who did this than a fall guy.

Terrorism in Norway: Let's All Jump to Conclusions

space

It's way more fun than waiting for real information to come in.

When I heard that someone disguised as a police officer opened fire on a Liberal youth camp on the Norwegian island of Utoya, 3o minutes from Oslo (where a car bomb went off earlier in the day), I doubted Al Qaeda involvement. How does an Arab terrorist convincingly pass himself off as a Scandinavian police officer, and how would Al Qaeda know (or care) about the youth camp? This seemed more likely to be a domestic thing, perpetrated by someone with a beef against the government in general or the ruling Liberal party in particular.

This guy has been arrested on suspicion of being the shooter, and police have stated they believe the bombings and shootings are linked. According to his Facebook profile (which was just yanked), he runs a farming operation, so getting the materials for a car bomb would have been cake. He's a conservative with an interest in political analysis. He lives in Oslo. He enjoys hunting, so perhaps he's a decent marksman.

This looks fairly simple. Dude combines a grudge with a homemade bomb and his hunting rifle. Chaos ensues. Middle Eastern terrorists get blamed until people realize there's no evidence of their involvement. Then we all select a favourite pet peeve and try to tie it in to this deranged jerkoff. He did it because there's no prayer in Norwegian schools! He did it because socialists have no souls! Or whatever.

Infowars has of course taken a quantum jump to the conclusion that this isn't what it seems. It's a false flag operation, like everything else that has ever happened since the dawn of civilization. People never just do bad things on their own steam. Personal responsibility is bunk. There's always someone or something else to blame: psych meds, Jews, arcane military ops.

Already, Infowars has posted a slew of articles dissecting the Norwegian Government Plot Against Norway.

Paul Joseph Watson: "Oslo police were conducting a bombing exercise at a location near the Oslo Opera House just 48 hours before a terrorist blast hit a government building in the Norwegian capital." He implies such exercises are typical of false flag terrorism, serving as "the fallback of a drill."
Really? Norwegian NWO baddies planned this thing for Friday, and they conducted their first major drill on Wednesday?

Watson again: The media is manufacturing a "white Al Qaeda myth", and anonymous callers and e-mailers have already alerted Alex Jones to inconsistencies with the Official Story.
Actually, the media seems to be backing off on the Al Qaeda speculation, as it doesn't really jive with the arrest of a blonde guy named Anders.
Not really knowing why the NWO would go after Norway, Watson throws everything at the wall in the off-chance something may stick. Norway halting payments to Greece, not joining the EU, backing away from action in Libya.

An unattributed article starts to pick apart the "holes" in a story that hasn't even emerged yet, trying to get us to be paranoid as hell. Why would a terrorist attack an empty building on a holiday? Doesn't this point to a false flag op?
Well, there are any number of potential answers to that questions. Maybe the perp(s) aren't quite as murderous as professional terrorists. Maybe he/they were scared of approaching a building full of people with a car bomb. You can't really make sense of terrorism, which is inherently irrational.

Kurt Nimmo wonders if "CIA contact" Mullah Krekar was responsible, and says the attacks will probably be blamed on Al Qaeda. Like I said, the Al Qaeda theory is already melting away in the media.
On Saturday, Infowars re-posed this article from Zero Hedge: "Establishment Media Rushed to Blame Madman Attack on Muslims With No Evidence."
Wait, what? Didn't Nimmo do that just yesterday with Krekar? Also, this article clearly takes the view that Breivik is the real perp and acted alone, which Infowars wouldn't accept under any circumstances. Lone shooters don't exist on Infowars, unless they're Zionist-controlled zombies or raging ecoterrorists. Or Freemasons, as Breivik apparently was.
But it's too late to agree with Nimmo, anyway; he already changed his mind. Today, he declares Breivik is "obviously a patsy for a Gladio operation to destroy political opposition to the bankers". His "evidence" for this is wafer-thin. Basically, Breivik was a member of a libertarian-style political party that opposed bailouts, and was set up as a patsy to demonize all like-minded Norwegians. This doesn't quite explain why he confessed, but there ya go. Kurt Nimmo has solved the whole mystery in about half a dozen paragraphs.

But as Gwynne Dyer has quite sensibly pointed out, it doesn't really matter.

The Blame Game continues

The greatest thing about The Alex Jones Show is that you usually don't even have to listen to it to know exactly what Jones is going to say. But I do anyway, just to be sure.

As I expected, Jared Loughner is probably a government mind-controlled assassin and an abortion-loving atheist Commie. Weirdly, he's also linked to white supremacy, but that's not very important. Remember, all crazy gunmen are left-wing, even if their unidentified government handlers have coached them on how to be right-wing zealots for the past twenty years.

Jones admits there isn't a lot of evidence that Loughner is a Manchurian Candidate, but like all other Candidates, he was preoccupied with mind control. So are many mentally ill people, but never mind that. Federal zombie assassins are way more interesting.

By the way, how dare the mainstream media jump to strange conclusions about this crime?

All Crazy Gunmen are Left-wing

For over 20 years, James Von Brunn made it clear to the world that he loathed non-whites and non-Christians. But when Von Brunn walked into the D.C. Holocaust Museum last year and opened fire on the security guards, Alex Jones declared that the shooting was probably engineered jointly by the government (as part of a "Valkyrie takeover drill", whatever that is) and the Anti-Defamation League. Von Brunn was possibly threatened into participating.

Timothy McVeigh made it crystal clear that he planned the Oklahoma City Bombing partly in retalation for the Waco massacre. But in Jonestown, he's just an FBI patsy whose handlers probably told him he was fighting white supremacists, and he confessed multiple times only because he was drugged by the CIA.

When Joseph Stack plowed an airplane into an Austin office tower in February, he left behind a vitriolic letter blaming the IRS for all his troubles. But Stack, too, was just a government patsy - part of the Great Tea Partier Frameup of 2010 that never actually happened.

When children shoot up their schools, it's not because they're mentally ill or because they're psychotic little assholes, even if the videos and writings they leave behind point clearly in one of those directions. It's because of psych meds they might not even be taking.

Lee Harvey Oswald was a CIA/military plant who didn't shoot at anyone. He was forced to pose as a leftist.

But when James Lee entered Discovery Channel headquarters and threatened to shoot employees for not doing enough to save the planet, leaving behind a radical environmentalist screed, Alex Jones accepted the media's explanation at face value.

The Blame Game: Mark David Chapman

Paul Joseph Watson, you're busted.

As you probably know, it is the contention of Alex Jones and many of his guests (as well as a vast array of conspiranoids) that most mass shootings are committed by mind-controlled Manchurian Candidates and/or people who are on SSRI antidepressants. Jones conveniently ignores the many mass shootings that occurred before SSRIs even existed, like this one.

So it's really no surprise that in this 2007 Infowars article about the Virginia Tech massacre, Paul Joseph Watson tries to pin the brunt of the blame on videogames and SSRIs. He points out that most spree killers are on SSRIs, and states that Mark David Chapman was on an SSRI medication at the time of his crime.

That's interesting. The very first SSRI on the market was zimelidine, and it was introduced in 1982. Chapman shot John Lennon in 1980.

Nice try.

The Blame Game III: Hal Turner

Soon I'll have some commentary on Jones' latest take on the Swine Flu "hoax". It's a lot of crazy to wade through.

In the meantime, let's look at an Infowars story on Hal Turner.

Hal Turner of New Jersey billed himself as "the most controversial radio host on the planet", and claimed that he shut down his show a year ago only because of all the media, interest group, and government pressure that had been brought to bear on him. In reality, he was in constant danger of being yanked off the air for making assassination threats against U.S. politicians, telling listeners, "We may have to kill some of the people you elect." Turner is also a vocal white supremacist, Holocaust denier, and anti-Semite. In addition to elected officials, he has encouraged people to assault or murder Jews, immigrants, and anyone who tries to interefere with Christmas celebrations.

Quote: "People say violence doesn't solve anything. They're wrong. Violence solves everything. You can argue with someone till you're blue in the face. They just won't change their point of view and if you knock the living shit out of them, then they change their view…I've done it. It works, and I encourage you to do it. We need a lot more violence to straighten up America."

And Jones wonders why the Cyberbullying Act exists.

After the show wrapped, Turner announced via his website that the U.S. had shipped 800 million Ameros to China. When readers expressed skepticism, he posted a video in which he held up one of the 20-dollar Amero coins. It was coppery and slightly larger than a Toonie, but details weren't visible in the shaky, low-quality vid. Turner said that one side was imprinted with the words "Union of North America", with an eagle and a map of North America. A "D" indicated it came from the Denver mint, in 2007.
The Ameros were shipped to the China Development Bank, Turner explained, because the U.S. currency would collapse by February 2009. "This is irrefutable proof that shenanigans are afoot at the highest levels of the government..."

But Turner's definition of "irrefutable", just like his definition of "sanity", differs significantly from mine. The coin in his video was a collectible mock-up designed by coin designer Daniel Carr, to express his distaste for the idea of a common North American currency. Photos of it began circulating online in late 2007. It was usually misidentified as "an actual Amero".

This was pointed out to Turner, who promptly accused the government of creating Daniel Carr's website solely to discredit his factual claims. But dc-coin.com was registered in 2005.

Though Turner briefly returned to broadcasting in April of this year, he's currently in jail for urging fans to assassinate officials, politicians, and judges in two states.

Now for the scary part. Federal officials have claimed that Turner was briefly a paid FBI informant. As reported by the Southern Poverty Law Center last year, some hackers also found email correspondence between Turner and an FBI handler.
Your tax dollars at work.

Infowars has taken a consistently disapproving stance on Turner's behavior, but as always, personal responsibility takes a backseat to other concerns. A June story on Turner's arrest laments, "Hal Turner’s arrest feeds into the Department of Homeland Security’s effort to conflate Second Amendment advocates, 'antigovernment' activists', and veterans with white supremacists." The article hints that Turner was only posing as an anti-Semite and racist, to help further this agenda - he could be a whole lot more than just an informant, in other words.

This attitude is even more evident in the latest Infowars story on Turner, "Hal Turner Admits He Worked for the FBI". This article argues that Turner was probably a full-blown "COINTELPRO" agent, encouraged by the FBI to make terroristic threats against federal judges. He is "a classic government patsy burned by the people he attempted to collaborate with." The bulk of the article consists of other "examples" of the FBI and the Southern Poverty Law Center paying and abetting terrorists for their own ends. These cases will be examined in part II.

In Alex Jonestown, there's always someone else to blame. Lunatics like Turner and Von Brunn never act fully of their own volition, terrorists never do their own plotting, and nothing sinister gets accomplished without covert government funding.

The Blame Game II: James Von Brunn

Jones Blames Jews for the Holocaust Museum Attack

Warning: Some strong language. Please avert your eyes if you're sensitive.
Please see the post after this one for an important clarification.

UPDATE: Bingo. Jones does, indeed, blame someone other than James Von Brunn for the Holocaust Museum shooting. He blames the government (as I predicted) and the ADL (as I should have predicted).
When a D.C. caller described an office evacuation that took place simultaneously, implying there was foreknowledge of the attack, Jones immediately pronounced it a "Valkyrie takeover drill". Then he pointed out that hundreds of articles about Holocaust denial have appeared in the press in the last two weeks. Earlier in the program, he said most Nazis like Von Brunn are actually agents of the ADL. Then he said something incoherent: "I wonder if they've got another old guy they had in custody 5 years ago, tried him with a gun. They told him, 'Look, we won't kill your family...just go in and shoot somebody.' The old man waddles in to do it, and the ADL and Simon Weisenthals all have a good time."
I have no idea what incident he's referring to here. Let me know if you figure it out.
The bottom line is, Jews arrange for these tragedies to occur and then celebrate them because it brings them one step closer to .... something or other.
It's at times like this that I almost despise Alex Jones. He spent 80% of his broadcast ripping into "the fairy" Glenn Beck for linking Von Brunn to 9/11 Truthers, without any evidence. Then he accuses the ADL of staging racist terrorist attacks, without any evidence.

Jason Bermas, Jones' clone, parroted his complaint about the Holocaust denial articles by saying one of the most duuuuuuh things I've ever heard from him: "Obama went to Dachau this week, too! The Holocaust is big!"

Yes, Jason. The Holocaust is big. The murder of six million innocent civilians tends to stick in public consciousness, for some crazy reason. I realize it's not as important to you as freaking tapwater or the MIAC report, but for many of us the Holocaust was, is, and will forever be "big".

Perhaps even more sickening and alarming than Jones blaming Jews for the attack without presenting ONE shred of evidence: Not one caller even mentioned it. They prattled on about the Swine Flu pandemic, Glenn Beck, and other meaningless shit instead of saying, "Hey, man, what up with blaming Jews for this? Where's the proof?" Also, this was Jones' moneybomb day, and he easily met his goal for donations.

I am sickened by these people right now. I almost wish there was a New World Order, so these soulless and insane and self-centered idiots would end up in FEMA camps, far from telephones and radios.

-------------------------

I was going to devote this post to yesterday's broadcast, 'cause it was a doozy. But the Holocaust Museum shooting deserves our attention at the moment.

Thus far, the media has blamed the following groups for James Von Brunn's actions:

9/11 Truthers: Glenn Beck declared he has been been warning his fans about Truthers "for a very long time", and said "early reports" indicate Von Brunn was a "hero" of the Truth movement.
I live with a Truther, many of my friends are Truthers, and I keep a close eye and ear on events in the Truther world. I've never heard of this dude. Neither has the Significant Other, whose Truth heroes are Stephen E. Jones, the Jersey Girls, and Richard Gage. Yes, there are racists and anti-Semites in the Truth movement, but not everyone in the movement is racist and/or anti-Semitic. Perhaps the biggest sin of Truthers is not racism, but turning a blind eye to racism in the movement, rather than openly denouncing it as soon as it comes to light.
This is a case of the crackpot calling the kettle black, because as I've noted several times, Beck has ranted about many a conspiracy theory on his Fox News show. In fact, he went out of his way to point out that while it's okay to "protest the Federal Reserve", it's just crazy to be a Truther.

I guess Beck didn't pick up on another early report about Von Brunn: On December 7, 1981, he walked into the Federal Reserve's D.C. headquarters with a sawed-off shotgun and a hunting knife, planning to take hostages. He served 6 years in prison for this.

Liberals: Thus far, the only "journalist" to link Von Brunn to 9/11 Truth is this woman, but even she doesn't blame Truthers for his crime. She blames liberals. Srsly.

Evolutionists: An essay thrown up at Beliefnet seconds after the shooting occurred blames racism on the theory of evolution and those who subscribe to it. 'Cause we all know there are no Christian racists. Don't be fooled by the fact that nearly all the major racist organizations in the U.S. have been Christian.

Birth certificiate doubters: The Huffington Post and Olbermann immediately picked up on the fact that Von Brunn questioned the authenticity of Obama's birth certificate. And this would relate to shooting up the Holocaust Museum how, exactly? I mean, the person who flogged that conspiracy theory the hardest is Jewish.

I predict that Jones will blame the government. He'll say Von Brunn was set up by the Powers That Be to justify Homeland Security's *persecution* of right-wing extremists.

We can't really blame any racist organizations, because Von Brunn wasn't active in any. He might have joined the People Who Hate People Party, if it had ever held a single meeting.

We can't really blame stupidity; Von Brunn belonged to MENSA. I guess we could blame smart people, but I only know of one other murderer who belonged to MENSA. And let's face it, the average white supremacist isn't top-heavy with brains.

We could blame old people. After all, America's oldest school shooter was 70 years old. There could be many more bloodthirsty seniors out there...
Thank God for the Lawrence Welk reruns that keep them off the streets.

We could blame guns. However, I can't recall the last time a gun hopped into a museum by itself and started shooting at guards. Guns tend to prefer quiet, dark places.

So who or what can we blame?

Let's take a cue from Von Brunn's ex-wife. She didn't offer up any scapegoats. She made it clear that Von Brunn was an alcoholic racist obsessed with what he saw as the disintegration of America.

In other words, Von Brunn was just an angry racist fuck.

Let's leave it at that, shall we?
