"Lindsay Lohan Poisoned"

How many times can one person be wrong in 11 minutes? Let's find out.

Lately, Jones has been telling his radio listeners what to search for on Google, exercising his awesome power to influence Google Trends. Top searches he has created in this way include "Barry Soetoro", "Google Spies", and "Poison Tap Water". The latest is "Lindsay Logan Poisoned". Jones also made a short video on this theme, which you can watch below.

Since I am neither a 14-year-old girl nor an avid reader of Us Weekly, I actually had to waste some of my life looking into this. I'm sure many of you are in the same boat, so here's the deal:

Earlier this month, a California judge ordered 24-year-old Lindsay Lohan to undergo three months of rehab for alcohol abuse and drug addiction as part of her jail sentence, after she failed to show up for a DUI/cocaine posession hearing. She was reportedly using methamphetamine as well as cocaine. Upon examining her, however, UCLA doctors determined that she was neither an alcoholic nor a drug addict. This was a surprising diagnosis, because Lohan has been in rehab three times in the past three years, and has sporadically attended AA meetings since the age of 20.
The UCLA doctors also concluded she doesn't have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Bipolar Disorder, as other doctors had reportedly diagnosed.
They took her off the smorgasbord of medications she had been taking for these and other disorders: Adderall for ADHD; Ambien for sleeping problems; Nexium for heartburn; Trazadone and Zoloft for depression, and the potent painkiller Dilaudid for God-knows-what. She was released from treatment after less than a month.

After a year of treating Lohan like a coked-out street whore, TMZ and other gossip outlets pounced on this news and declared that all of Lohan's problems may have been caused by "bad diagnosis". This is a very popular media tactic: Trample celebrities into the dirt, then offer them a scrap of last-minute redemption when they can't be brought any lower.
Jones hopped on that bandwagon. Adderall, he says in his video message, is a methamphetamine that causes such adverse health effects as "brain shrinkage" and "heart expansion". He claims a junior high classmate died of a Ritalin-induced heart attack.

I'm going to set aside the question of whether children are being misdiagnosed with ADD/ADHD (IMO, they are) and just deal with the adverse effects of Adderall and other ADHD drugs for now.* There are some very important things to point out.

- We don't actually know if Lohan was diagnosed as having ADHD. An earlier tabloid report alleged she was taking Adderall for weight loss, as some people do (and she did drop a suspicious amount of weight at one time). Until this is resolved, we can't really blame some nameless doctors for misdiagnosing her.
- Her prior history of alcoholism and cocaine possession indicates that she does have substance abuse issues, so not all of her misbehaviour can be chalked up to prescription drug use.
- Adderall is an amphetamine. That means it's a stimulant. Contrary to what Jones says, though, Adderall effects are not just like the effects of cocaine or methamphetamine, which are more potent than prescription ADHD drugs.
- Jones claims in his video that "brain shrinkage" and "heart expansion" are two potential side effects listed on the insert for Adderall. Neither of these things are true. The most serious potential side effect of Adderall is increased blood pressure, which can pose a risk to children and teens with pre-existing heart conditions. It is apparently true that ADHD children, on average, have brains 3-4% smaller than the brains of children without the disorder, and a 10-year NIMH study concluded in 2002 that this holds true even for unmedicated ADHD kids. However, as I've repeatedly warned, it's foolish to concentrate on the results of a single study. More studies will have to be done before we can say with confidence that ADHD drugs do or do not cause a decrease in brain matter.
- "New reports have come out that over 80% of prescription drugs don't treat what they claim they're treating and have toxic side effects." This comes from a single source, New Jersey professor Donald Light, who presented a paper to the American Sociological Association earlier this month. It's curious that he presented it to sociologists, rather than to anyone in the medical field, but at any rate this paper ("Pharmaceuticals: A Two-Tier Market for Producing 'Lemons' and Serious Harm") has not yet been published, so it's impossible to check Light's facts at this time.
- Jones states that "fluoride-based" SSRIs like Prozac are hallucinogens, and repeats his misconception that most school shootings and infanticides are triggered by SSRI use. SSRIs are not "fluorine-based"; they contain a minute quantity of fluorine. This is explained very clearly on a JREF forum thread; you can check the details for yourself. Hallucinations are an extremely rare side effect of SSRIs, but SSRIs are not hallucinogens (which cause hallucinations in nearly everyone). As explained by Dr. David E. Nichols in this New York Times article, "While antidepressants like Prozac work by making the neurotransmitter serotonin linger in the gaps between brain cells, hallucinogens have a different mechanism of action. They are what are called serotonin agonists -- molecules that are very similar to the body's natural serotonin and, when taken in large doses, push the serotonin system into overdrive, making many brain systems more sensitive."

There's a glut of other mangled information and misinformation in this 11-minute video. Jones repeats the "lithium in the water" and "brain-eating vaccine" nonsense, as I knew he would. Probably the most flagrant *mistakes* he makes concern Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg's call for an inquiry into the possibility that WHO and pharmaceutical manufacturers conspired to hype the threat of H1N1.
First of all, Jones confuses the Council of Europe with the Council of the European Union when he states that Dr. Wodarg is on an "EU Commission". The Council of Europe is unaffiliated with the EU, though the two bodies do have common goals and a degree of cooperation. I know the names are similar, but let's get them straight. Wodarg was a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
Jones' EU/Council of Europe confusion is particularly weird when you realize that Wodarg was actually a guest on Jones' show in February (you can listen to that interview on YouTube; Jones repeatedly tries to lead Wodarg into agreeing with various Swine Flu conspiracy theories, but Wodarg doesn't take the bait).
Secondly - but far more importantly - Jones states that Wodarg's inquiry has "conclusively found" that the H1N1 vaccine is "toxic". This is absolutely false. The inquiry focused on whether WHO and/or vaccine manufacturers exaggerated the severity of the H1N1 pandemic, not on the efficacy or safety of the European H1N1 vaccines. The committee's 18-page provisional report can be read in its entirety at the PACE website. I read it, and aside from concerns of possible insufficient testing of the vaccines and their elevated price (due to the use of patented adjuvants), author Paul Flynn makes no conclusions about the vaccines themselves.
Dr. Wodarg (who is no longer a member of the Council of Europe, but acted as an advisor for the inquiry) hasn't made any allegations about the "toxicity" of the H1N1 vaccines, either. Like PACE members, he has only expressed concerns that the vaccines may have been inadequately tested. He is not an opponent of vaccination. On the contrary, in an interview posted on his personal website, he stated that one of his central complaints about the handling of H1N1 was that the medical establishment could have inexpensively vaccinated the population by simply adding H1N1 virus to the flu vaccines already in stock. This couldn't be done, he complained, because some of the additives in the vaccines are patented. As mentioned, this criticism is echoed in Flynn's report.

I repeat: The Council of Europe does not claim that the H1N1 vaccine is "toxic".

Jones goes on to say that England has suspended H1N1 vaccination because of a tenfold increase in convulsions in children under the age of 5. He even shows a screenshot of the July 31 London Telegraph article that supposedly imparts this information

Clearly, he did not read the article. It has nothing to do with H1N1. It concerns one particular brand of seasonal flu vaccine in Australia. Neither Australia nor England has suspended H1N1 vaccinations! To date, the only country to suspend vaccinations for non-shortage reasons is Finland, and that involved concerns that a particular brand of vaccine (Pandemix) had caused narcolepsy in 27 residents of that country. This was a precautionary measure. Doctors in Finland are currently trying to determine if there is any link between the vaccine and the disorder.

Where on earth is Alex Jones getting all this inaccurate information? How do you confuse Australia with England and Finland, convulsions with narcolepsy, the European Union with the Council of Europe? I don't like to imagine that he's simply creating factoids to fit his own perspective, but his consistent lack of fact-checking and his insistence on repeating invalid information are starting to eat away at the benefit of the doubt.






* I sometimes wonder if Jones has ADD. He doesn't seem to research any single topic for more than a few minutes, and he complained that an episode of Squidbillies went on forever. It was 15 minutes long.

How is the Great Swine Flu Plot of '09 coming along?

Over the summer, Jones laid out the steps that the elite scumlords will take to strike a death blow to the U.S. Constitution, kill most of us, and institute global government. I call this the Great Swine Flu Plot of '09, because Jones has said H1N1 and H1N1 vaccination is a central plank in the evil plan. Jones also said the initial stages of the plan would be instituted in the autumn. Now that it's December, let's take a look at how many of the steps in the plot have been carried out:

Step 1: In the fall of '09, Swine Flu hysteria will serve as a distraction while the government sneaks in more bank bailouts, carbon taxation, the Clean Water Restoration Act, and the passage of hate crime legislation. Then forced inoculation will be introduced.

Bank bailouts? Check. There have been several of those. But I wouldn't say that H1N1 distracted anyone from them.
The Clean Water Restoration Act? No. Languishing in the Senate.
Carbon taxation? No. Jones insists they will be levied immediately upon U.S. ratification of the Copenhagen treaty, so time will tell.
Hate crime legislation? Half a check. The Matthew Shepard Act was signed into law in October, It's mostly an update of 30-year-old legislation, so it's hardly anything to freak out over. It does not in any way limit hate speech. The Cyberbullying Act, which is more problematic because its wording isn't as tight as the Shepard Act, is languishing in the House.
Forced inoculation? No.

So we have a check and a half for the 4 items in Step 1. That's a 36% success rate. Slightly better than Sylvia Browne's track record, but still dismal.

Step 2: Forced inoculation will result in riots all over the U.S., because people are too smart to take the shots voluntarily. The vaccine will not protect against Swine Flu; in fact, it was probably an experimental vaccine that was used to start the outbreaks in the first place.

Still no forced inoculation yet, even though October poll results indicated 60% of adult Americans were not planning to be inoculated.

Step 3: The rioting will give "Obama's thugs" (NORTHCOM and civilian service orgs like Americorps) the perfect excuse to institute and maintain nationwide martial law. Everything will be federalized.

No martial law. If the bailouts count as "federalization" (and Jones, Glenn Beck et. al. would argue that they do), then that would be the only major example thus far.

Step 4: Under the direction of Obama's science czar, John Holdren, sterilizing agents will be placed in municipal water supplies.

No, but Jones now insists that 150 chemicals found in municipal water supplies are "known to sterilize mammals" and were placed there deliberately. (today's broadcast)

Step 5: Dissidents will be rounded up and placed in FEMA concentration camps. The Constitution will cease to exist, and the U.S. will basically become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the UN.

No.

Step 6: The real mass murder begins. 80-99% of the world's population will be eliminated via tainted vaccines, execution, forced abortions, and involuntary sterilization.

No. Again, time will tell. Considering Jones' batting average so far, I'm not holding my breath. I still haven't seen any sign of Obama's "Muslim/Black Identity/Nation of Islam terrorism and persecution of whites", which Jones predicted during his November '08 interview of Ron Paul.

Much Ado About Squalene

In July, Dr. Mercola's* article on squalene in the H1N1 vaccines was posted at Prison Planet. Since then, info from this article has found its way into many of the fear-mongering articles on the H1N1 vaccine, and of course into online comments (including a few left on this very blog by the Arbiter of All Online Knowledge, Anonymous). I'm not referring, here, to reasoned and informed articles about the real risks associated with flu vaccines. I'm referring to ridiculous alerts churned out by naturopaths and paranoids, usually written in ALL CAPS. Sadly, these kinds of paranoia-pandering articles on H1N1 vaccine are a lot easier to find than science-based articles on the subject.

Squalene is a naturally-occurring oil already present in the human body. It's squalene that leaves fingerprints behind when you touch a surface. It's also found in olive oil. According to Dr. Mercola, however, injecting squalene into the human body (as opposed to digesting it) is hazardous. He contends that injected squalene causes the immune system to attack all squalene in the body, compromising the nervous system. To date, I have not found any scientific research that supports this. If you know of any, by all means let me know. The results from a 2000 study, published in The American Journal of Pathology, indicated that when rats were injected with squalene, they experienced "chronic, immune -mediated joint specific inflammation" (arthritis).

The second-biggest problem with using this study to support anti-adjuvant criticism (the biggest problem can be found at the bottom of this post) is that rodent pathogenesis does not necessarily have any relationship to human pathogenesis. Though we share a lot of DNA, rats are not human and humans are not rats (well, most of the time, anyway). When it comes to adverse reactions to human vaccination, epidemiological studies are of far more value than lab studies involving animals.
This issue has cropped up in anti-vaccine fearmongering before. In 2003, Dr. Mady Hornig seemed to confirm parents' worst fears when he announced that rats suffering autoimmune disorders, when injected with thimerosal (a vaccine preservative containing mercury), displayed autism-like symptoms.
This was a deeply flawed study on several counts (for one thing, autistic humans don't necessarily have autoimmune disorders, so selecting only rats with these disorders was a strange choice indeed). But the biggest problem, again, is that rodent pathogenesis may have no relationship to human pathogenesis.

Other concerns:

Dr. Mercola, Generation Rescue, and other vaccine opponents state that squalene in vaccine adjuvants may have caused Gulf War Syndrome. Trace amounts of squalene were reportedly found in the anthrax vaccine, though this probably resulted from lab contamination rather than vaccine contamination.
Even if there was squalene in the vaccine for some reason, there is no evidence supporting a link between squalene and any of the symptoms reported by Gulf War I vets. The anthrax vaccine is frequently mentioned as a possible culprit, but the anthrax vaccine uses aluminum hydroxide, not squalene, as an adjuvant.
The Research Advisory Committee on Gulf War Veterans' Illnesses has concluded that Gulf War Syndrome exists and was probably caused not by vaccines, but by pyridostigmine bromide and perhaps pesticides.

This shrill and grammar-challenged essay claims that H1N1 vaccine contains a million times more squalene than the anthrax vaccine (which doesn't contain any).

Austrian journalist Jane Burgermeister contends that "clinical studies published by Baxter’s own scientific team that patented the H1N1 vaccine demonstrate that such adjuvants are, at best, useless." Though numerous studies have shown that they are effective, others (like this Baxter-funded study of the whole-cell Avian Flu vaccine, published last year in The New England Journal of Medicine) have shown that adjuvants did not enhance antibody response. So at this point, the bulk of the evidence is in favour of adjuvants.

This piece by activist Deborah Dupre claims the adjuvant developed by Dr. Jules Freund in the '50s (usually called Freund's complete adjuvant) contains squalene and was found by Freund himself to cause "terrible, incurable conditions" in test animals, including allergic aspermatogenesis, allergic encephalomyelitis, allergic neuritis, and other autoimmune disorders. But Freund's complete adjuvant is not approved for human use. It is found only in veterinary vaccines.
In other words: Freund's complete adjuvant has nothing to do with the H1N1 vaccine. At all.

More importantly: No human vaccine used in the U.S. contains squalene or any other form of oil-based adjuvant. Period. Squalene adjuvants are present in a small number of European vaccines, but the only adjuvant approved by the FDA is aluminum salts, which have been in use in U.S. vaccines since the 1930s.
Adjuvants will not be present in any of the H1N1 vaccine distributed in the U.S.
From the CDC's FAQ page on H1N1 vaccine: "According to current federal plans, only unadjuvanted vaccines will be used in the United States during the 2009 flu season. This includes all of the 2009 H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccines that will be available for children and adults in both the injectable and nasal spray formulations... There is no plan at this time to recommend a 2009 H1N1 influenza vaccine with an adjuvant."

There's really nothing more to say about this.



*Though a trained and licensed MD, Mercola has become a Master of Woo. Serious woo. He advises fans never to eat grains. At all. Ever. He believes that microwave ovens actually change the chemical structure of food, rendering it "unrecognizable" to the human body. He teaches that bras cause breast cancer and should be avoided as much as possible, which sounds a wee bit self-serving to me (and is not supported by any medical evidence).

Bugging Out II: A Long Way to Go to Avoid a Shot

Remember the guy who's hiding out in the woods to escape flesh-eating robots and other scary stuff that doesn't actually exist? Well, it seems Alex Jones isn't averse to the idea of bugging out, either.
Despite all his talk about not fearing death at the hands of the elite scum who threaten him continuously, despite all his rhetoric about the Spirit of '76, despite his avowed uberpatriotism, Jones isn't above fleeing his country if the sh** gets too heavy. One of his guests today was Mike Adams the Health Ranger, an advertiser who fled the U.S. for Ecuador. He and fellow expats were concerned about the H1N1 vaccine, the food supply, the economy, and U.S. fascism. So, he moved to a country plagued by poverty, disease, and kidnapping, without clean drinking water. Good thinkin', Mike. You'll be safe there.

Jones said he, too, has looked around for places to flee with his family.

Here are Mike Adam's "10 Swine Flu Lies Told by the Mainstream Media":

1. There are no adjuvants in H1N1 vaccine.
This is quite tricky of Mr. Adams. You see, there are adjuvants in H1N1 vaccine. But not in the doses being distributed in the U.S. So by saying "there are adjuvants in the vaccine!", you're not exactly being dishonest, because European countries have been using WHO-approved adjuvants like squalene for years - with good results.
Incidentally, I couldn't find any support for Adams' contention that squalene causes infertility. I'll be posting on squalene soon, since it has become one of the biggest boogeymen in the H1N1 vaccine hysteria propagated by Jones & Co.

2. Swine Flu is more dangerous than seasonal flu.
I've had both this year. The Swine Flu was worse, and if I had a pre-existing health problem like asthma, I might have been one of the many people confined to hospital and placed on oxygen because of H1N1. While it's true that seasonal flus result in approximately 20,000 U.S. deaths per year, H1N1 is severely affecting young people that the seasonal flus barely bother. It's not the Black Death, but it's serious stuff.

3. Vaccines protect you from Swine Flu.
Yes, Mr. Adams, the purpose of the H1N1 vaccine is to prevent H1N1. Will it work? We don't know. But inoculation is a better bet than crossing your fingers and glugging colloidal silver until you turn blue.

4. Vaccines are safe.
For the most part, they are. While Adams insists that no one has proven they're safe, he doesn't mention that no one has proven they're not.

5. The vaccine isn't mandatory.
For the average American, it isn't. But health workers and some teachers are being asked to take the shot for the safety of their charges, and their refusal could put those people entrusted to their care at risk.

6. Getting a vaccine is a good bet on your health.
Usually. It's a better bet than standing in the sun without sunscreen because sunscreen causes cancer, cutting your open wounds in lieu of getting tetanus shots, avoiding fluoride because you think it will render you sterile, or any of the other ludicrous health measures Jones has recommended.

7. The vaccine isn't made with weakened live virus.
This is just flat-out wrong. I know of no mainstream media outlet that claims flu vaccines aren't made with weakened live virus, because that is how they're made and everyone with any knowledge of vaccination knows it. The vaccine wouldn't be effective otherwise. It's nothing to be scared of.

8. Washing your hands will help you avoid exposure.
Again, Mr. Adams is being tricky here. No one is saying that hand-washing reduces exposure; it reduces transmission.

9. Children are more vulnerable to Swine Flu than adults.
Generally, children are more susceptible to flus and other infectious disease than adults. It's not a lie. Anyone with a kindergarten-age child knows that if there's something going around, your child stands a really good chance of catching it and bringing it home to the rest of the family.

10. There is nothing else you can do beyond a vaccine and Tamiflu.
Again, nobody in mainstream media is saying this. Adams already mentioned hand-washing, so what the hell is he trying to pull, here? No one denies that good old-fashioned immunity-boosting and prevention are wise, and news stories have been chock-full of advice on how to stay healthy by exercising, taking vitamins if necessary, eating properly, etc.

September Spawned a Monster

So what have Jones & Co. been up to this autumn? Here's an abridged recap:

- The #1 topic is, of course, the Swine Flu vaccine. It contains the usual array of toxins added to vaccines for the sole purpose of sickening and killing us: mercury, squalene, etc. Sure, doctors will try to tell you that small amounts of these substances are not hazardous and are the only things that keep the vaccines from spoiling or being ineffective, but who's going to believe a certified medical professional over Alex Jones?
According to Jones, squalene was long ago removed from all vaccines administered to Army officers, because it was killing many of them. But wait. Didn't Jones already tell us that each and every military officer is being deliberately injected with "very aggressive cancer viruses"? So, um, why did the Army bother removing the squalene?

More importantly, just how is squalene toxic? Though the squalene found in vaccine adjuvants comes from other sources, our bodies produce it naturally. Rather than banning it, WHO, and just about every other public health org on the planet, considers squalene totally safe for use in vaccines, despite unfounded fears that squalene had something to do with Gulf War Syndrome. Adjuvants were not even present in any of the vaccines administered to Gulf War I vets; the FDA has not yet authorized their use.

- Cancer rates in children are up "1000%", thanks to cancer viruses in all major vaccines.

- Jones resurrected the Birther debate on his show by inviting back Philip J. Berg. You'll note that nothing about Obama's Kenyan birth features in The Obama Deception, because that *documentary* was clearly designed to suck in Dems and vaguely left-wing folks. Now that Jones has brought a few of them on board, he can go back to the groundless accusations about forged birth records and "Nation of Islam persecution of whites".
Meanwhile, Berg still hasn't produced that long-promised audio of Obama's gran outing him as Kenyan-born.

- Jones declared that within 5-15 years, 9 out of 10 of us will be dead. First there will be a one-child policy, beginning with getting rid of the tax credit in California (he said there are already massive fines for having more than one child in Australia, New Zealand, England, and parts of Europe). Later, "extra" children will be confiscated, sterilized, and raped by CPS officials (remember, 50% of CPS workers are pedophiles, and so are most family court judges).

- The New World Order plan, of which The Great Swine Flu Plot of '09 is just one part, is to bankrupt the world and set up a new economic system based on carbon credits (designed by Enron and Al Gore).

- Jason Bermas, another Infowars correspondent, and Luke Rudkowski (founder of We Are Change) were detained during G20 protests in Pittsburgh. According to Bermas, police were randomly bombarding quiet residential streets with sound cannons, clubbing elderly women tourists over the head for approaching them with questions, siccing their dogs on tourists for no reason, and beating children in their own front yards because they're not supposed to be outside.
While there have been many allegation of police brutality and security overkill during the summit, these stories are above and beyond anything else that's being reported even by the fringiest of fringe media outlets. And the video clips posted at Infowars don't show any of this alleged violence. They mostly just show guys standing around in riot gear, waiting for something to happen.

- When Clinton was carrying on the policies of Bush I, Newt Gingrich was brought in to "act like a conservative" and discredit and derail real Republicans with his Contract for America. Just as Glenn Beck has been brought in to descredit and derail Tea Partiers and Truthers.
I don't concur with this theory that Beck is a New World Order operative. Aside from his support for the first bank bailout and his trash talk about Truthers, Beck is the slightly calmer twin of Alex Jones. Witness his analysis of "Communist symbolism" in art displayed at Rockefeller Center, his stubborn assertion that Zeke Emanuel supports the formation of "death panels" (even though Emanuel is a staunch opponent of euthanasia), and the fact that his bosses apparently forced him to debunk FEMA concentration camp rumours. Beck's show is like a stage production of Network.*

- Charlie Sheen still hasn't gotten his twenty minutes with Obama.


* Particularly annoying are all the visual aids Beck has been using since moving to Fox. Is this because he knows his Fox News viewers aren't quite as sharp as his CNN audience, or does he just want to be the Carrot Top of political commentary? Two weeks ago, he actually laid out on the table in front of him a Twinkie, a glass of milk, and a glass of fruit punch. Then he proceeded to tear up Nancy Pelosi's comments about the bigotry and partisan violence she witnessed in San Francisco during the late '70s, without explaining the snacks. Finally, after he'd rambled for several minutes, he explained that they were supposed to represent Harvey Milk, Dan White's Twinkie defense, and the Kool-Aid of Jonestown. Srsly. It was like something a third-grade teacher would put together, if he happened to be batsh** insane and the kids happened to be unusually slow.

The Alex Jones Deception + Vaccine/Autism B.S. from Dr. Eisenstein

You might be wondering what I think of The Alex Jones Deception, the YouTube documentary-type thing put together by the debunker "Troy from West Virginia" (Troy Sexton). Here are my thoughts on it:

- There are a few excellent points and some funny moments, but it's way too disrespectful and mean-spirited for my tastes. Lots of name-calling, lots of character assassination. I prefer to deal primarily with the information Jones and his guests present to audiences. It doesn't have to get so personal and so nasty.
- Troy has been charged with abusing his son. This casts into serious doubt his assertion that one of Jones' followers falsely reported him to Child Protective Services on a previous occasion.

Speaking of really stupid sh**, Jones' guest Dr. Mayer Eisenstein says it's sunscreen - not the sun - that causes skin cancer. I've heard this from Jones' guests before. Jones figures that because we all need some sunlight, the more the better - no precautions necessary.

Eisenstein is an opponent of all vaccines who offers some highly questionable treatments to his patients. For instance, he promises parents that if they don't have their children vaccinated and give them lots of vitamin D, they will not be autistic. And he believes - despite a complete lack of evidence - that autism occurs when excess testosterone binds to mercury in thimerosal (a vaccine preservative found in very few of the vaccines administered today). So he "cures" autistic children by giving them the powerful hormone suppressant Lupron. It's heavy stuff. My grandfather has been taking it for prostate cancer.
But even if mercury bonded to excess testosterone as theorized (it doesn't), and even if mercury damage resulted in autism (it doesn't), Lupron would not help. Once mercury damage has been done to the brain, it can't be undone. Potential damage from mercury poisoning can only be mitigated if treatment is administered immediately after exposure.
The most disturbing effect of this treatment, though, is that it render males impotent - permanently. It is chemical castration. In fact, it has been used on repeat sex offenders.

And Jones complains about the globalists' plot to sterilize men?

BTW, there have been very serious allegations of malpractice made against Eisenstein's home birth practice by several former patients, as described in this May Chicago Tribune article.

The Great Swine Flu Plot of '09

Though Swine Flu has killed more people than all the vaccines Jones despises put together, he's convinced that the flu is relatively harmless. Maybe it is. I'll give him that. But that's where our opinions on the matter diverge, but Jones posits the existence of what is basically a United Nations takeover plot of America. Here's roughly how it will play out, according to Jones:

Step 1: In the fall, Swine Flu hysteria will serve as a distraction while the government sneaks in more bank bailouts, carbon taxation, the Clean Water Restoration Act, and the passage of hate crime legislation. Then forced inoculation will be introduced.
Step 2: Forced inoculation will result in riots all over the U.S., because people are too smart to take the shots voluntarily. The vaccine will not protect against Swine Flu; in fact, it was probably an experimental vaccine that was used to start the outbreaks in the first place.
Step 3: The rioting will give "Obama's thugs" (NORTHCOM and civilian service orgs like Americorps) the perfect excuse to institute and maintain nationwide martial law. Everything will be federalized.
Step 4: Under the direction of Obama's science czar, John Holdren, sterilizing agents will be placed in municipal water supplies.
Step 5: Dissidents will be rounded up and placed in FEMA concentration camps. The Constitution will cease to exist, and the U.S. will basically become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the UN.
Step 6: The real mass murder begins. 80-99% of the world's population will be eliminated via tainted vaccines, execution, forced abortions, and involuntary sterilization.

The Great Swine Flu Plot model Jones has crafted relies on the very shaky presumption
that any pandemic preparedness on the part of any government agency is bad, m'kay? This includes any cemetery preparedness. We should just let people die and rot where they drop, I guess.
Let's look at the other evidence Jones has amassed in support of his model, some of it supplied by guests:

Jones claims he predicted the flu pandemic on March 5th, after noticing that mass graves were being prepared at the National Memorial Cemetery in Pheonix and Houston National Cemetery. He has also noted that the New York Division of Cemeteries sent "Mass Fatality Forms" to cemeteries to collect data on their ability to deal with casualties of a flu pandemic or other disaster. However, this survey was conducted in 2007, and was spurred by concerns about an Avian Flu pandemic.
Kurt Nimmo of Infowars found it sinister that in Exeter, England, there are emergency plans to inter flu victims in old catacombs. Again, this was discussed as early as 2006, in relation to Avian Flu. The catacombs were orginally built for just such epidemics, by the way. Modern Englishmen aren't the only ones with the foresight to prepare for the worst...

There's nothing amazing about Jones "predicting" the pandemic in March, because pandemic concerns were being aired as early as January.

There's another problem with Jones' claim that he predicted Swine Flu. Quote: "Two months before 9/11 I said, 'The government's gonna blow up the World Trade Center and blame its asset, bin Laden.' I saw the preparation right out in the open!"
If you listen to the prediction made on July 25, 2001, you'll hear for yourself that he wasn't this specific. He did mention bin Laden, but he did not provide a timeframe, a target, or a means of attack. When he mentioned explosives, he was referring to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the Oklahoma City bombing. When he mentioned the World Trade Center, he was again referring to the '93 bombing.
And unless you're a Truther, you know that the World Trade Center was not blown up on 9/11.

There are more problems with the prediction. As critics of Jones have pointed out, conspiranoid broadcaster William Cooper gave an identical warning (mentioning bin Laden but not a specific target) a full month before Jones. You can hear Cooper's prediction 1:27 into this video.

Also, when he appeared on CNN to discuss Charlie Sheen's Trutheriness, Jones declared he "had intelligence" that the 9/11 attacks were going to occur, and that he was first person to expose 9/11. So which is it? Did he figure out that 9/11 was going to happen because he saw preparations "out in the open", or did he receive intel about it? And why does he claim to be the first person to expose the plot, when he probably knew (or at least knows by now) that he was not?

Forgive me, but I'm not placing much stock in Jones' predictive powers. He has said, "Everything I say comes true," but that doesn't seem to be the case at all. The vast majority of things he says don't come true.

On the show, F. William Engdahl claimed the H1N1 virus has not yet been isolated and examined. Paradoxically, guests Rima Laibow (a doctor specializing in nutrition and alien abduction, wife of Remote Viewing champion Albert Stubblebine) and Wayne Madsen said the virus shows signs of genetic engineering. Yet all three of them are incorrect. The virus has been examined, and is indistinguishable from naturally occurring flu viruses.

A year before the Swine Flu (H1N1) outbreak, Baxter International and other pharmaceutical companies applied for a patent for the same RNA sequence found in H1N1, proving Swine Flu was genetically engineered by the same people who are supposedly trying to prevent its spread. I can't find any evidence that an H1N1 RNA sequence patent was given to Baxter nor any other company [note: the patent has apparently been found, and it's not even close to what Jones described; you can find the details in this thread at the JREF forum]. But this sounds an awful lot like the work of A. True Ott, a "doctor" who has dipped his toe into many conspiracy pools (including Mormon Satanism and the profoundly retarded theory that digital converter boxes are rigged to spy on Americans). Ott believes that a 2005 flu vaccine patent granted to Novartis was actually for H1N1, a "reverse engineered" and patented virus created at Ft. Detrick (using the next generation of PROMIS software). Ott explains everything in this "scholarly" paper full of ALL CAPS.

Kurt Nimmo's Prison Planet story "Flu Pandemic Hype Another Pretext for Global Government" (Apr. 27/09) states that under the 2005 International Partnership on Avian and Pandemic Flu adopted by the UN General Assembly, the U.S. will be controlled by the WHO, the WTO, the UN, and NAFTA during a pandemic. But a similar article by Nimmo posted at Infowars on July 27th mentions only FEMA, Homeland Security, and the military. WTF?

FEMA's NLE 09 exercise, conducted last month, was possibly a pandemic/martial law drill. It was a terrorism response drill. If you want to pretend it was something else, fine. Whatever.

A secret State of Texas memo leaked to Jones by an Austin city official states that "global martial law" will be instituted in the event of a pandemic. Until we get more information or see the actual document, this tidbit is basically worthless. What on earth is "global martial law" supposed to be? Who would enforce it, and how?

In his April 9/09 broadcast, Jones mentioned that the defunct Rocky Mountain News ran a story about a huge incinerator for human remains and mass graves being set up in the U.S. He didn't mention that he's been telling this story for five years. Nor did he mention that the incinerator is the Grand Junction incinerator set up by the University of Colorado to dispose of the heads of deer and elk with Mad Cow and wasting disease. It probably cannot be used as a crematorium for human remains during an epidemic; some question whether it's even effective against BSE and wasting disease.
The "mass graves" are a reference to the cemetery survey conducted in 2007.

Professor Eric Pianka said They want to use engineered Ebola to wipe out a large percentage of the population. Professor Pianka said he wanted to see naturally occurring Ebola wipe out a large percentage of the population. He didn't say it should be initiated by anyone. He was just expressing the commonly-held belief that the planet is ruinously overpopulated. While I don't wholly agree with his view, I see no reason to characterize Pianka as some sort of mad scientist training our young people to go out and kill - as Jones does. He points out that some of Pianka's former students work in bioweapons labs. Well, of course some of them do. They were biology students. Doy. Out of every batch of biology students leaving a major university, a few will go to the "dark side". And they wouldn't be getting their training from Pianka, anyway, because he's a herpetologist.

The UN Biological Diversity Assessment for 1996 stated the UN would use engineered flu virus to kill us. The UN's Biological Diversity Assessment, a global study involving 1500 scientists, was kind of a census of life on Earth. Its report, released in November 1995, placed the number of different species at around 13 million and noted that species are going extinct at a troubling rate. Though the report encouraged nations to preserve biodiversity to the greatest extent possible, there was nothing in it AT ALL about reducing the human population. Anyway, the U.S. has been notoriously uncooperative with global efforts to preserve biodiversity. Just one year before the UN report was issued, for instance, the Senate refused to ratify the Convention on Biodiversity treaty.

Jones isn't the only one propagating the Great Swine Flu Plot of '09. Catherine Austin Fitts states that in her opinion, the Swine Flu vaccine is part of a depopulation plot. A. True Ott concurs, as does Rebecca "Ghandi with Breasts" Carley. In fact, Dr. Deagle. Carley, and Ott have formed a team to oppose mandatory Swine Flu vaccination - not with good solid facts about the actual risks, but with conspiracy theories about a global depopulation agenda.

Jones' Vaccine Rant

I'm to the point of just not caring whether people are vaccinated or having their children vaccinated or not.
If you are so horrendously ignorant, paranoid, and misinformed that you honestly believe all vaccines are specifically designed to kill you rather than to prevent preventable diseases that actually could kill you, there's not much hope for you. That doesn't stop me from hoping that someday you will accidentally learn something about immunology and innoculation, stop being paranoid, and stop misinforming others - but it's turning into a slim hope.
Thanks, Alex Jones. Thanks, personal injury lawyers. Thanks, quacks who scare people away from science-based medicine in order to sell your bogus alternative health treatments and "cures". Thanks, Jenny McCarthy and all the other parents who can't accept that sometimes bad things happen to good people for no good reason. Because of your tireless efforts, the next generation may suffer polio paralysis, measles outbreaks, flu pandemics, and all the other wonderful stuff that vaccines "don't" keep at bay. I'm sure your mothers are proud.

Bugging Out

Remember the guy who's going to ground to avoid the New World Order smackdown?

It gets worse. On his YouTube channel, he has posted an explanation of his reasons for doing what he's doing. Among them:

• Flesh-eating robots. Sure, they haven't actually been developed yet, and the creators never actually said anything about using corpses for fuel (that was a fun little factoid added by the ultra-conservative media, to teach us that science is scary and that only crazy, evil bastards use it), but holy mother of god flesh-eating robots!!! RUN!!!
• The Army is rehearsing to take over the country right now. This is apparently a reference to the so-called "gun confiscation drill" conducted in Iowa in April and the international FEMA terror drills that are taking place. Also, the vlogger has heard stupid rumours of "burnout drills" (setting fire to citizens' homes to evacuate them from an area). After the epic fail that was Katrina disaster relief, you'd think people would be happy to see FEMA officials doing some dry runs. They could sure use the practice.
  
• Food shortages, riots, and martial law are imminent because THEY will cut off all water, electricity, and food supplies to major cities, to starve residents into submission. It will probably start in California. lol wut
  
• Swine Flu vaccinations may become mandatory. While I'm not comfortable with the idea of involuntary inoculation with a vaccine that has been developed quickly, I don't believe the vaccine is part of a "depopulation agenda". It would definitely be the first of its kind, because despite the occasional problems with contamination, no vaccine in recent history has harmed more people than it has helped.
  
• Obama's science czar, John Holdren, wants to impose limits on the number of children Americans can have. As the vlogger is actually holding a baby in his video, I don't fully understand why this is a concern for him. Does he really want seven more children that he'll have to hide from THEM?
• Each nation will be alotted so many babies. Only test tube babies will be allowed. The source of this info? Bertrand Russell. I love the guy, but dammit - he was one paranoid, misanthropic old mofo. Best not to take all his warnings literally.
• John Holdren plans to sterilize Americans against their will.
  

That last possibility seems the least likely of all. Americans are staunch defenders of their reproductive rights, and the fertility industry is huge. But let's examine this, since it's also something that Jones has mentioned via Paul Watson's Prison Planet story"Obama Science Czar's Plan to Sterilize Population Through Water Supply Already Happening".
No, there isn't any evidence that antiandrogens found in some drinking water and pesticides were placed there to sterilize the male population. And Holdren's "plan" was more like a wild suggestion; I'm sure he wasn't dense enough to think it would be implemented in his lifetime.
The truth is, however, that Holdren and co-authors Paul and Anne Erlich did discuss involuntary population control in their 1977 book Ecoscience. Erlich had published an even more alarmist book, The Population Bomb, in 1968. Holdren and the Erliches wrote that if population growth wasn't slowed voluntary, involuntary sterilization could be introduced via food and water supplies. Women could be required to have abortions. Otherwise, mass starvation would result.

The strange thing is, Paul Erlich's failed predictions of the late '60s bear an eerie resemblance to the predictions Jones has been making: Food shortages could lead to the deaths of hundreds of millions. The only difference is, Erlich did not view such catastrophes as part of a depopulation scheme, but the inevitable result of overpopulation. He believed there would be worldwide famines in the '70s and '80s if population growth was not curbed.

Erlich knows he was wrong, or at least he knows that his timeline was whack. While he's still concerned about overpopulation, his views have been tempered considerably by age and experience. I think the same could safely be said of Holdren. The things both men wrote over 30 years ago probably seem as brash and silly to them now as they do to the rest of us.

It's not time to head for the hills just yet.

"Eugenics"

Last Sunday, Jones' broadcast was all about eugenics, or rather it was all about what Jones perceives to be eugenics and depopulation tactics: Food contamination (all intentional, he contends), fluoridated water, vaccines, birth control.

He began the broadcast by saying, "I have such an important job to do. How do I reach out to the people? How do I document for them that I'm right? That I have the evidence, I have the facts, I understand the globalist agenda...?"

The reason many of us don't take him seriously, he says, is because we're "punch-drunk on entertainment and alcohol."
Way to win new fans: Accuse lukewarm listeners of being idiots and drunks.
Soon, a regime far worse than that of Stalin, than that of Mao, than that of Hitler will descend upon the ignorant, hungover masses. That'll teach us not to ignore Alex Jones.

Later, he told us that if just 10% of what he said in his three-hour broadcast is true, we're in big trouble. I don't know about 10%, but based on the inaccuracies I heard in each hour, I'm guessing the percentage is rather low....

• The Rockefellers were the sole funders of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute [Society]. If you Google "Rockefeller Kaiser Wilhelm Institute", you'll find an Encyclopedia Britannica entry that confirms this. I couldn't find anything like this by Googling, but a visit to the online EB shows it doesn't even have an entry for the KW Society. I think it goes without saying that all the KW Institutes receive funding from numerous sources, and always have. The Rockefeller Foundation made major contributions, however, and some of this Rockefeller-funded research became central to the Nazis' racial policies. That's what Jones was trying to say.
• James Watson was forced to resign from the Genome Project because he declared that people of colour are a sub-species of homo sapiens. He stepped down as Chancellor of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in 2007, after it came to light that he had referred to black people as less intelligent than whites. (Good riddance.) But he left the Genome Project 15 years earlier, because he opposed the patenting of gene sequences - a position with which Jones would certainly agree, if he knew anything about it.
  
• A Mayo Clinic study found that children who receive flu shots are 3% more likely to be hospitalized than children who do not receive flu shots. To Jones, this is more evidence that children should not be inoculated against anything. Ever. He also views it as proof that "the flu outbreaks are from the shots". But the study dealt only with the flu vaccine, and Dr. Avni Joshi clearly stated, ""While these findings do raise questions about the efficacy of the vaccine, they do not in fact implicate it as a cause of hospitalizations."
  
• "Hundreds of government studies" show that you triple your chance of developing Alzheimer's if you receive three or more flu shots in your lifetime. Similar misinformation has been circulating widely; that you're 10 times more likely to develop Alzheimer's if you have 5 consecutive yearly flu shots than if you have only one or two flu shots in your lifetime (note that Jones didn't even get his misinformation right). Bill Maher actually repeated this on Larry King Live in 2005. This seems to have come from a single doctor: Hugh Fudenberg. Please Google him - you'll learn much about his other unsupported claims (including, in the '80s, a claim that he could cure autism). In 1997, Fudenberg claimed the mercury in thimerosol (a vaccine preservative) collects in the brain and eventually causes Alzheimer's. Not one study, government-sponsored or otherwise, supports his theory. The causes of Alzheimer's aren't fully understood, but heavy metal poisoning is not a contender. Besides, you cannot get heavy metal poisoning from the tiny amount of mercury present in flu shots. (If you're still concerned about mercury for some reason, you can request a mercury-free shot.) Jones would be disappointed to learn that some of the more promising Alzheimer's treatment experiments being conducted involve vaccination with amyloid.
• Baby formula contains rocket fuel. Not exactly. 15 brands of formula were found to contain trace amounts of perchlorate, which is used as a component of rocket fuel. Perchlorate contamination of cows' milk and drinking water may pose a health risk because it inhibits iodine uptake to the thyroid (though the American Thyroid Association has not found an increase in thyroid-related conditions due to exposure to environmental levels of perchlorate). So mentioning that it has been found in formula isn't totally out of line. Telling people that solid rocket fuel has been found in formula is.
• Breastfeeding will probably be illegal someday. Not just in public - everywhere. I think La Leche Leagues all over the world would disagree with you there, Mr. Jones. Besides, what possible pretext could there be for outlawing breastfeeding?
  
• "The Good Club" recently met in secret to discuss eugenics, namely how to kill Africans via tainted water supplies. This club, if it could even be called such, met at the behest of Bill Gates at the home of biochemist Sir Paul Nurse. Population control via birth control education was reportedly on the agenda. Does anyone other than Catholics seriously have a problem with that? Encouraging responsible family planning in impoverished nations that can't even support their current populations? And does anyone besides Jones et al truly believe that Bill and Melinda Gates are mass murderers?
  
• Bill Gates and his father, who runs Planned Parenthood, want to reduce the population. No. They want to control population growth. Completely different thing. Cecile Richards, not Bill Gates Sr., has been the president of PP since 2006. Gates Sr. served on the board of PP at one time, but he hasn't been on the board for at least the last 4 years. He is not running Planned Parenthood.
  
• "Almost every major philanthropic organization out there gives almost all their money to eugenics organizations." "Eugenics organizations", in Jones' view, means orgs that provide health care, clean drinking water, or medicines to Africans. I guess we're just supposed to let them die, because no humanitarians on this planet can be trusted. Also (and Jones has said this before), don't give a penny to cancer research. A cure will never be found, because that's the way Bill Gates and his cronies want it. Never mind that Gates himself has donated vast sums to cancer research.
  

"I have the facts"? Srsly?

Jones Spreads Swine Flu Panic and Misinformation

Jones had the nerve to say this about Swine Flu panic earlier in the week: "Man, there's a lot of media fear-mongering going on." He's right, of course, but he's one of the media outlets spreading the fear.

When it comes to health issues that are worrying millions upon millions of people, the media should be disseminating timely, factual information in a calm and straightforward manner, without exploiting the issues for political or religious purposes. Some media outlets have been doing just that. Others, particularly in the tabloid and alternative media, have been capitalizing on the fear and confusion. And Jones is definitely one of those. Steve Quayle provided so much misinformation and such bizarre religious invective on Monday's show that I'll have to devote my entire next post to him. Thus far, Jones and his "expert" guests have told his listeners that:

- Baxter Industries intentionally contaminated its flu vaccine with active Avian Flu virus. This could not have occurred by accident. There is no indication that the contamination of Baxter's flu virus was anything but an accident, and such accidents are entirely possible. With the number of vaccine doses being manufactured and shipped all over the world today, it's actually remarkable that such contamination doesn't occur more often.
However, if you want to villainize Baxter industries and inculcate fear of the pharmaceutical industry like Jones clearly does, last year's heparin incident would be a better example. That contamination was probably not accidental.

- Baxter is bidding to develop the Swine Flu vaccine. They will use this vaccine to wipe out a sizable percentage of the population. Inoculation will be involuntary. In the history of inoculation, no vaccine has killed more people than it has protected. There is no reason to suspect that the Swine Flu vaccine will be the first exception. There is no reason to believe that the Swine Flu will usher in an involuntary vaccination program, due to public resistance and the low rate of infection.

- The flu must have been deliberately released at different locations simultaneously, as the spread of the disease does not follow natural patterns. This is false. Diseases can and do break out simultaneously in widely separated parts of the world, thanks to high-speed air travel.

- An Air Force study "proposed" an Avian Flu pandemic for 2009 back in 1996. The Air Force said this pandemic would kill 30 million people. It's true that a hypothetical pandemic is included in the Air Force study Air Force 2025, a wildly ambitious report full of possible scenarios. In the report, the pandemic is listed as one of several disasters that could occur. It doesn't prop up Jones' theory that They are carrying out a global depopulation program, because the report estimates the world population as 8 billion in 2025 - hardly a reduction in our numbers.

- The Swine Flu could be a race-specific bioweapon. Again, there is absolutely no indication of this. It's irresponsible speculation at best.

- No health organization can be trusted. They're all in on it. Whatever their flaws, the CDC, WHO, and other health organizations are staffed by scientists and health professionals who have devoted their lives to the study and prevention of infectious disease and the promotion of health. They want to do their jobs well, and they certainly don't stand to benefit from a pandemic.

- The Swine Flu cannot be natural because God would never allow such a thing. It could only come from Lucifer. (Steve Quayle) If Steve Quayle wants to blame diseases on the devil, fine. That's his right. But is it necessary to encourage millions of listeners to revert to pre-scientific beliefs, rather than encourage them to approach the problem calmly and rationally?

- This "execution by injection" is a form of "esoteric murder, ritual Satanic deliverance of the innocents to death", timed to occur with the occult day, Cinco de Mayo. (Steve Quayle) I'll deal with this in the next post.

By comparison with this stuff, Ron Paul's public service announcement is a masterpiece of restraint and common sense. However, despite the fact that Paul is a medical doctor, his information is also deeply flawed. Out of approximately 40 million people who received the swine flu vaccine in 1976, only two or three deaths were reported - and they couldn't be confirmed as having been caused by the vaccine.

Even paranormal radio show Coast to Coast AM hasn't given in to speculation and sensationalism. Guest Dr. Marc Siegel (a licensed, practicing internist) assured last night's listeners that health organizations are being honest about the Swine Flu; that it's not a significant health threat at this time because your odds of getting it are remote, and it's not that deadly; that Swine Flu is unlikely to be a bioengineered disease; and that media coverage is overly alarmist. Check out Dr. Siegel's "The Most Powerful Virus is Fear Not Flu".

So far, not one of the "doctors" on Jones' show have been credible, responsible professionals. Dr. Bill Deagle was stripped of his Colorado license two years ago for overprescribing lethal cocktails of pain medication, and his sole visible means of support are a health-related online business called Nutrimedical and a radio show called The Nutrimedical Report. Rebecca Carley was stripped of her license for violent, threatening behaviour stemming from mental health problems, and because of her insistence (despite a complete lack of evidence) that vaccines cause a vast array of diseases that can be reversed only with her proprietary detox program. Steve Quayle isn't a medical professional at all; he's a former anthropologist and sociologist who has devoted most of his life to the study of Biblical giants.

So as you can see, the alternative media is spreading misinformation and panic in the same manner as the mainstream media outlets they criticize for fear-mongering. You probably won't be getting the facts from Jones' guests, every one of whom has given wildly inaccurate information. Not to mention, each has a strong religious, business-related, or ideological agenda. The best way to protect yourself and your loved ones from such manipulation?

1. Don't give in to panic. Panic can lead you to irrational decisions that might not be in your best interests.
2. Don't spread unverified, speculative factoids. This excellent article talks about the high costs of rumour-mongering, and offers some good tips on how to evaluate the credibility of sources. (thanks to TK)
3. Go ahead the take the advice of trusted health professionals. They're not out to get you; they want to prevent a pandemic just as much as you do.

Swine Flu: Jones Calls in the Experts

Jones naturally wants to prop up his assertion that the swine flu is an engineered bioweapon, so he's going to invite a couple of doctors on the show to give their expert opinions on how the flu developed. CDC officials? Epidemiologists? Research scientists with backgrounds in bioengineering?

No, Dr. Bill Deagle. The GP who lost his Colorado medical license for killing a patient with painkillers. The dude who believes he is one of the Two Witnesses in the Book of Revelations. The dude who says the Forbidden Zones in the U.S. will soon be patrolled by Modified Attack Baboons with Nano-Armor and dinosaur clones. The dude who's working to develop a Rife machine. The dude who believes the 1918 flu was bioengineered. The dude who says he was invited to help invent AIDS and rule the world. That's just the tip of his crazy iceberg; read my post "The World of Dr. Deagle" for more information.

The other expert Jones is going to have on the show: Rebecca Carley, who I recently covered here. She is not allowed to practice medicine because of her mental instability and her refusal to seek treatment. She believes that a coalition of Freemasons, Satanists, and practicing doctors are suppressing her detox cure for autism and cancer. As an anti-vaccine hysteric, she insists upon re-classifying diseases as autoimmune disorders caused by vaccines without doing any real research whatsoever.

Ask yourself: If any rational, credible, licensed doctors supported these conspiracy theories about Swine Flu, wouldn't Jones invite them on the show?

Other Dr. Deaths: Stanley Monteith, Boyd Graves, and Russell Blaylock

Now that I've covered "Dr." Scott Whitaker and Rebecca Carley, here are a few more of the doctors who have appeared on Jones' show...

Dr. Stanley Monteith

Monteith is a retired California doctor who spent much of his career fighting AIDS activists (well, at least he believes AIDS exists and is transmittable). He insists that vaccines cause cancer and fluoridated water is hazardous. And like all of the other doctors Jones has on his show, he believes an indiscriminate New World Order depopulation program is being conducted on a global scale. Why? So They can fulfill Biblical prophecy, in particular Revelations 6:8, which will install their leader (the AntiChrist).

Monteith appeared most recently on The Alex Jones Show in February, as a self-described expert on race-specific bioweapons and diseases, like AIDS (yes, he actually considers AIDS a race-specific disease, and Jones even cut in to say that black and Hispanic leaders are paid off to stay quiet about it, distracting people with "fake" racial politics).

He is also a conspiracy theorist, as you've probably already guessed. His book Brotherhood of Darkness is quite popular in the paranoid community. Monteith describes it thusly: "We reveal the secrets that the sages have passed down through the ages. If the secrets were discovered these men would have been killed. This book explains why the Supreme Court took prayer out of schools."

On Jones' show, he said American Special Forces are indoctrinated into the occult and are told that one of their most important missions is to eradicate huge percentages of the population. (Jones: "The blacks are just dancing right into the gas chambers, basically.") Funny, isn't it, how not one former member of Special Forces has blown the whistle on this?
What are these occult practices taught in the military? Monteith mentioned the Stargate Project, the Army's spectacularly unsuccessful remote-viewing experiment, which was completely dissolved over a decade ago. A very small number of military personnel were involved with it.

Monteith pulled out some stats: One in three black males between the ages of 21 and 31 is on probation, on parole, or in prison. "How could you possibly do something like that? I'll tell you how they could do it. It's the water fluoridation." That's right, tapwater turns you into a criminal. Especially if you're a person of colour. You've been warned.

Without providing a smidgeon of evidence, he said Mexican immigration groups are funded by the Ford Foundation, and Henry Ford was a disciple of "Satanic" Theosophy. Groups like MEchA, the NAACP, and La Raza, are also controlled by New World Theosophical eugenicists. (Ford may have dabbled in Theosophy, but he was Episcopalian).

Jones pointed out that Major Albert Stubblebine, one of Stargate's participants and perhaps its most enthusiastic supporter, now speaks out against it. At some point, Stubblebine realized he "hadn't been told the whole plan" behind Stargate; it is really a global extermination plan. Monteith: "I'm sure this is absolutely true." He went on to say that the eugenicists drew their beliefs from Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, the founder of Theosophy and a "white supremacist" (she wasn't; Theosophy was cobbled together from beliefs of many different cultures). Jones cut in to say, as he has numerous times, that HPB was Hitler's favourite philosopher (she wasn't, though like many men of his time he expressed mild interest in Theosophy).

Jones then said that if you take a liberal - any liberal - aside and mention HBP or Margaret Sanger, the liberal will snarl, "That's right, you sonofabitch, and we're gonna get you too. We've gotta exterminate the blacks and the Mexicans."

Um.

Dr. Boyd Graves

Dr. Graves was diagnosed as HIV-positive in the early '90s. Searching for a cure, he stumbled upon evidence that the U.S. Special Virus program created AIDS in a lab. His primary piece of evidence is a 1971 flowchart found on page 61 of the Program's Progress Report #8, which supposedly lays out the "research logic" of the development of HIV/AIDS. You can wade through this evidence at his self-glorifying website.

Boyd calls himself The Man Who Solved AIDS, and claims he was the first person to take the *cure*: an antimicrobial topical cream containing small amounts of tetrasilver tetroxide in jojoba oil, sold under the name Tetrasil. He actively promotes this cure in Africa and elsewhere. He makes a huge deal out of the fact that Marvin Antelman, the creator of Tetrasil, acquired a patent for tetrasilver tetroxide injection as a "method of curing AIDS". As I know jack about patent law, I don't know how/why travesties like this can occur. Fill me in if you know. The bottom line is, no, there is no evidence that Tetrasil/tetrasilver tetroxide cures AIDS. It has minor antimicrobial properties, and is sometimes used as a pesticide or swimming-pool disinfectant. That's all. In fact, it's illegal to promote it as a cure for anything in the U.S., and Zambia has banned it outright.

Like Rebecca Carley and Bill Deagle, Boyd says the 1918 flu virus was engineered as a bioweapon during WWI.

Dr. Russell Blaylock

Blaylock, a retired neurosurgeon, told Alex Jones' listeners earlier this year that "conventional medicine" (again, this is a misnomer; it's either medicine, or it's not) was created by the Rockefeller Foundation in 1901.

[pause for laughter]

Blaylock considers vaccines hazardous, but doesn't condemn them wholesale. The main target of his doctorly wrath is the excitoxin aspartate, found in food additives like aspartame and MSG. The only legitimate concern about aspartate is that it might affect parts of the brain that are not protected by the blood-brain barrier, but Blaylock (against all evidence) insists it does cross the blood-brain barrier. Therefore, he believes that MSG can be lethal. He's also a medical consultant to the Fluoride Toxicity Research Collaborative.

Other Dr. Deaths: Rebecca Carley

Now that we've covered "Dr." Scott Whitaker, let's take a look at some of the other medical professionals who have been guests on The Alex Jones Show. First up is...

Rebecca Carley, M.D. (AKA Ghandi with Breasts)

"Vaccines are biological weapons. Period."

Ms. Carley was a guest on Jones' show on the 5th of this month. She warned that They are planning to create an Avian Flu pandemic. Early in the broadcast she said They will unleash the flu in order to offload the supply of Tamiflu before it expires. Paradoxically, she later says the "vaccine" itself will be used to start the pandemic. As evidence of this plot she cited a 2008 report that the U.S. is refusing to sell supplies of Tamiflu to nations that sponsor terrorism, for fear they will use the doses to create bioweapons. She believes this is just a cover story: They actually want to keep it for themselves so they can use it to infect people with Avian Flu.

Confused yet?

She didn't explain why she refers to Tamiflu as "bird flu vaccine", when it is not really a vaccine. She also didn't explain why They would use the "vaccine" to infect people when they could just use Avian Flu viruses.

She told listeners that vaccines cause cancer and all autoimmune diseases (as you'll see, her concept of autoimmune diseases is, um, creative). To Carley's mind, this goes back to the Spanish Influenza epidemic of 1918; it originated with vaccines administered to U.S. soldiers in WWI. In reality, the origin of the epidemic has not been identified. This lacuna in medical knowledge leaves lots of room for conspiracists to spin fantasies, theories, and wild guesses about the Spanish Flu being the world's first genetically engineered bioweapon. Seriously. Dr. Bill Deagle has talked about it, too.

Far from being the vaccine expert she declares herself to be, Carley does not have even a basic grasp of how inoculation works. She asks, "If something is a dangerous pathogen, why am I going to inject it into my body?" Eighteenth-century milkmaids grasped the principle behind inoculation; why can't this reasonably intelligent, educated, twentieth-century doctor get it?

Jones heartily concurred with everything Carley had to say, and vice-versa. Carley shares Jones' view that an indiscriminate, worldwide depopulation effort is underway. She refers to vaccination as a "holocaust." Like "Dr." Whitaker, she opposes universal healthcare on the grounds that it will merely be a front for the depopulation agenda. Again, this vaccination-as-murder theory leaves us with the question, Why not avoid vaccination altogether and let people die naturally from all the nasty diseases vaccines prevent?

Though Carley's website, interviews, and talks ostensibly focus on medical issues (particularly "vaccine-induced diseases" and Avian Flu), she approaches them from a conspiracy theorist's perspective. She collaborates with a conspiracy researcher and self-described "doctor" called True Ott.

Ms. Carley has a medical degree from SUNY, but never completed her residency. She has never worked as a doctor, though she held numerous health-related jobs for short periods of time until 2003. That's when her license to practice medicine was suspended by the New York State Board for Professional Medical Conduct. She was deemed as "impaired by a mental disability"after psychiatrist Zev Labins concluded she was suffering a delusional disorder, with narcissistic and borderline personality traits. She had been giving medical exemptions to parents who didn't want to vaccinate their children, on the grounds that all vaccines are "genocidal weapons of mass destruction" developed by Freemasons in the U.S. Dept. of Health and the Dept. of Defense, as part of the Masons' plot to take over all professions. She also believed that she could cure all autoimmune disorders and diseases with her "Hippocratic Protocol" detox system, and included in her list of these disorders and diseases austism spectrum disorders, diabetes, cancer, ADD, learning disabilities, asthma, and allergies. Of all the conditions on her list, only one (lupus) is actually an autoimmune disease. She classified all these conditions as "vaccine-induced diseases, or VIDS".

Carley believed that an alliance of Satanists, Freemasons, medical professionals, governmental agencies, and legislators were conspiring to prevent her from "curing autism". Her own husband was a part of this plot; on behalf of the government, she told Labins, he raped their son during a Satanic ritual in retaliation for her anti-vaccination efforts. The rape also served the purpose of causing Dissociative Identity Disorder (multiple personalities) in the boy, so that government agents could "program" his alters to do their bidding. No evidence of abuse was found by doctors, detectives, or child welfare. Carley's ex-husband was granted full custody of his son in 2000.

Because of this massive conspiracy against her, Carley likened herself to Joan of Arc and "Ghandi with breasts".

Another reason Carley lost her license was that had made threats against many of the people she suspected of being part of the conspiracy against her (police officers, social services workers who were unable to find any evidence of child abuse against her son, and others with any degree of authority). She even threatened to harm the children of a police officer who was assigned to escort her to hospital.

Rather than undergo therapy and regain her license, Carley became an unlicensed "wholistic detox consultant". (Her license was permanently revoked in 2004.) She continues to claim that her detox regimen can cure cancer, autism, and nearly every other condition known to medicine. Sadly, parents desperately seeking a "cure" for their children's autism continue to turn to this deeply unwell woman and her untested treatments. She has also managed to convince a few other credulous doctors, like Monty Weinstein, that she really is a medical "whistleblower" and the victim of a massive conspiracy.
